Purple Hybrid mattress offers the same Purple feel as its predecessor, but is more durable and supports your body. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid mattresses are made by the same company who created Hyper-Elastic polymer and the original Purple mattress. Purple actually has three types of hybrid beds. They are appropriately named the Purple Hybrid Premier 3 or 4 and the Purple Hybrid Premier 3 or 4. Below I will explain why you might prefer one to the other and how they compare with the rest. You will find out if Purple Hybrid mattresses are right for you.
Purple Hybrid is also known as Purple 2 and is 11 inches thick. It is also firmer and more suitable for stomach, back, or stomach sleepers than the two other models. It’s also the most economical Purple Hybrid mattress.
The Purple Hybrid Premier, also known as Purple 3 is 12 in thick and features a thicker Hyperelastic Polymer comfort coating. This makes the Purple Hybrid Premier feel a bit more soft and places it around a medium to moderate-firm scale. Purple Single Mattress
The Purple Hybrid Premier 4 is the most expensive of the Purple hybrid beds, but it’s a whopping 13 inches thick and is extra supportive. The Purple Hybrid Premier 4 has a medium to firm profile, which we believe would suit most body types.
Purple Hybrid Mattress Video Review
Purple Hybrids feature purple detailing throughout their beds, which is a nice touch for those who are passionate about the color. The details in the cover give it a premium look, and you can tell it’s a bit more heavy-duty than the flagship Purple mattress. People want to know what the Purple feels like.
It is completely different from Grandma’s innerspring mattress, I’ll be honest. It’s a completely new design for a bed and it ended up working in the company’s favor. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid mattress firmness, feel and feel
Regardless of the model you get, the Purple Hybrid mattresses are soft and airy without feeling like foam. The purple squares can be felt under your fingertips if you move your hand along the mattress’s center.
It is not noticeable when you lay down. You just feel like you’re floating over your back or on a hammock. The thick layer pocketsed coils make it really supportive, which I’ll explain below.
The Purple Hybrid 2 simultaneously feels supportive and pressure-relieving, but it also has a slightly firmer profile. It’s 7/10 on the firmness scale. While the soft squares aren’t pushed into your hips or shoulders if you lie sideways, they don’t feel like a typical firm mattress. However, my back and spine feel reinforced by the Hyper Elastic Polymer layer. I like it a bit more firm than the Original Purple.
If you’re curious about the Purple Hybrid but you aren’t willing to explore unconventional ways of bedding, you might want to look elsewhere. If you are open to the idea of a mattress that relieves pressure from your hips, shoulders, and back, while also making you feel light, this might be a good choice for you. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid Premier
The brand’s two hybrid beds at the top of the range have the same Purple feel. However they are slightly more softened by thicker layers hyper elastic polymer.
I think they both land in between a medium to medium-firm, or around a 6 on the firmness scale. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid mattress construction
The Purple Hybrid measures approximately 11 inches high and has four layers. Here is a basic breakdown of the layers in the Purple Hybrid so that you can get an understanding of what makes Purple, Purple.
A thin slab of basic foam about an inch thick, which supports the thick pocketed coil layer above.
The mattress is made up of thick pockets of coils measuring 7.5 inches in diameter, each wrapped in fabric to limit movement transfer. It is what makes this mattress so comfortable.
To neutralize the feeling of the coils within the foundation of the bed, add a thin 1/2 inch of foam.
Around 2 inches of the brand’s special Hyper-Elastic Polymer, laid out in a grid formation. This is the layer that makes it different from the Purple Hybrids. Each mattress has an individual thickness. It’s bouncy, squishy, soft and provides most of the Purple’s comfort.
The dense foam slabs that surround the edges make the sides more sturdy and supportive.
The Purple’s StretchMax cover is atop, and it is, as the name suggests, extra-stretchy. It feels more breathable and breathable then a standard mattress cover. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid Premier mattress layers
Purple Hybrid Premier is the brand’s highest-end mattress option. Only the top layers make up the main difference in construction.
Purple 3 has 3inches of Hyper Elastic Polymer at the top. Purple 4 has 4inches.
Although they feel the same, it does not make a big difference in their feel. Purple Single Mattress
Motion isolation isn’t something innerspring beds are good at. But with the Purple Hybrid’s pocketsed coils as well as the special material inside, it’s an entirely different story.
It seems to be quite capable of isolating motion, even though it is very bouncy.
It barely makes any noise, and it’s almost impossible to notice your partner moving on the opposite side. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid mattresses have firm foam at the edges that will hold you up if your body tends to lean towards the sides of the bed.
This is why I give the edge support capabilities of this mattress two thumbs up.
The other benefit of the Purple Grid besides bouncy comfort would have to be its temperature-regulating abilities. The Purple Grid does not have any fancy cooling materials. Its natural, breathable design means that it is one of the best mattresses available for allowing airflow.
It doesn’t retain heat like memory or poly foam, which makes it more appealing for hot sleepers like myself who need additional cooling. Although it’s not cold, I don’t feel too hot when I sleep on the Purple. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrid’s best sleeping positions and body types
You wouldn’t expect that you would fit into every size shirt at your favorite clothes store.
This is especially true since there are so numerous options. Your body type and preferred position are the most important factors in choosing the right mattress. Purple Single Mattress
There are three main sleeping positions: side, stomach or back. The Purple Hybrid is best for stomach and back sleepers.
I would recommend the Purple Premier mattresses to side sleepers who really want the Purple Hybrid. These mattresses are slightly softer and less pressure-relieving than standard hybrid models, which will benefit your shoulders and sides more. Purple Single Mattress
No matter what your body size, no matter how heavy or light, the Purple Hybrid bed will work for you.
Purple Hybrid mattresses work well for everyone because they offer more support than traditional foam beds such as Casper or Nectar. They have that layer of steel pocketed coils on the bottom, and if you think about it, steel is much more durable than foam. This mattress will last 10 years longer than an all-foam one. Purple Single Mattress
Purple Hybrids are more expensive than original Purples. They also tend to be less affordable for those who need to spend as little as possible on a brand new bed. If you’re looking for a way to improve your night’s rest, however, you might consider it a reasonable price.
The standard Purple Hybrid mattress is available in sizes from twin XL to California king. Prices start from $1,299 and can go all the way to $1.899. Although they don’t often offer discounts on this bed, they might have a promotion that includes free sheets and pillows.
Purple Hybrid mattress features metal coils wrapped in foam to provide support and softness.
