Purple Hybrid Mattress delivers the same Purple feel with a stronger and more supportive construction. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid mattresses are made by the same company who created Hyper-Elastic polymer and the original Purple mattress. Purple actually has three types of hybrid beds. They are appropriately named the Purple Hybrid Premier 3 or 4 and the Purple Hybrid Premier 3 or 4. Below I will explain why you might prefer one to the other and how they compare with the rest. Find out if a Purple Hybrid Mattress is right for you.
Purple Hybrid (also known as the Purple 2) is the thinnest option of hybrids and measures only 11 inches thick. It’s firmer than the other models and is suitable for stomach and back sleepers. It’s also one of the most affordable Purple Hybrid mattresses.
The Purple Hybrid Premier, formerly known as Purple 3, is 12 inches thick with a thicker Hyper-Elastic Polymer comfort layer. It feels a little softer and is a medium-firm weight. Purple Mattress Too Hot
The Purple Hybrid Premier 4 is the most expensive of the Purple hybrid beds, but it’s a whopping 13 inches thick and is extra supportive. Like the Purple Hybrid Premier 3, it has a medium to medium-firm profile, and we think it would suit all body types.
Purple Hybrid Mattress Video Review
Purple Hybrids have purple detailing all over the bed. It’s a great choice for someone who is passionate about the color. It’s more luxurious than the Purple Hybrid mattress, thanks to the premium cover. What does the Purple mattress feel like?
It’s quite different than the innerspring mattress in Grandma’s guest room, and I will tell you that. It’s a new concept for a bed that I think ended up working in the company’s favor. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid mattress firmness and feel
Purple Hybrid mattress are soft and comfortable, no matter what model you purchase. Feel the squishy, squared shapes underneath the mattress by running your fingers along its center.
It isn’t noticeable when you lie down. Instead, you feel buoyant and like you are floating on your back or in a hammock. Though, it’s also really supportive because of the thick layer of pocketed coils, which I’ll explain more below.
The Purple Hybrid 2 simultaneously feels supportive and pressure-relieving, but it also has a slightly firmer profile. It’s 7/10 on the firmness scale. The soft squares do not press into your hips and shoulders, unlike a traditional firm bed. But my back and spine feel extremely reinforced thanks to the Hyper-Elastic polymer layer. I think it’s a tad bit firmer than the Original Purple mattress.
If you’re curious about the Purple Hybrid but you aren’t willing to explore unconventional ways of bedding, you might want to look elsewhere. The Purple Hybrid might be for you if it offers a mattress feel that is both supportive and light on the hips, shoulders and back. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid Premier
The brand’s two hybrid beds at the top of the range have the same Purple feel. However they are slightly more softened by thicker layers hyper elastic polymer.
Both of them fall in the middle to mid-firm range, or roughly a 6 on our firmness scale. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid mattress construction
The Purple Hybrid’s four layers are approximately 11 inches in height and has four layers. Below is a breakdown of each layer of the Purple Hybrid bed. This will give you an idea about what makes Purple and Purple.
A thin slab made of basic foam approximately one inch thick that supports the thick layer of pocketed coils above.
The mattress has a thick system made of 7.5-inch pockets coils. Each coil is individually wrapped in fabric to reduce motion transfer. It’s the main reason why this mattress is so supportive.
A thin half inch of foam to help neutralize any sensations caused by the pockets in the bed’s base.
Around 2 inches of the brand’s special Hyper-Elastic Polymer, laid out in a grid formation. This layer is what distinguishes the Purple Hybrid mattress from the others. Each mattress’s thickness varies. It’s bouncy, squishy, soft and provides most of the Purple’s comfort.
To give the sides more support and stability, dense foam slabs are placed around the edges.
The Purple’s StretchMax cover is atop, and it is, as the name suggests, extra-stretchy. It feels more breathable and breathable then a standard mattress cover. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid Premier mattress layers
Purple Hybrid Premier is the brand’s highest-end mattress option. The top layers are what really make the difference in construction.
Purple 3 has a layer of Hyper elastic Polymer at its top that measures 3 inches, while Purple 4 has 4 inches.
While it doesn’t make a significant difference in feel, they are more soft than the Purple Hybrid. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Motion isolation is not a common feature of innerspring beds, but the Purple Hybrid offers a different approach with its pocketed coils.
It seems to be quite capable of isolating motion, even though it is very bouncy.
It makes almost no noise and you won’t be able to see your partner on the other side. Purple Mattress Too Hot
The Purple Hybrid mattresses are constructed with firm foam around the edges to hold your body up more firmly if you tend to creep towards the side of the bed during the night.
Therefore, I give this mattress my enthusiastic thumbs-up for its edge support capabilities.
The other benefit of the Purple Grid besides bouncy comfort would have to be its temperature-regulating abilities. The Purple Grid has a natural breathable structure that allows for airflow.
It doesn’t retain heat the way memory foam or polyfoam might. This makes it appealing to hot sleeping people like me who want additional cooling. Although it’s not cold, I don’t feel too hot when I sleep on the Purple. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Purple Hybrid’s ideal sleeping positions and body types
You wouldn’t expect to find the right size shirt at your favorite clothing shop, so don’t assume that every mattress will be accommodating.
This is especially true since there are so numerous options. Your preference for a particular position and your body type are key factors in choosing the best mattress. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Side, stomach, back, or a combination thereof are the primary sleeping positions. Purple Hybrid is recommended for stomach and back sleepers.
If you are a side sleeper, the Purple Hybrid mattress would be a good choice. They are a little more soft and pressure-relieving that the standard hybrid model, which will make them more beneficial for your sides and shoulders. Purple Mattress Too Hot
Type of body
Regardless of your body type, whether you weigh 105 pounds or 250 pounds, I think the Purple Hybrid beds will be perfectly suitable for you.
Purple Hybrid mattresses can be used by all body types as they are more supportive of traditional foam beds like Casper or Nectar. The bottom layer is made of steel coils with pockets. Steel is more durable than foam. You will notice a difference in the durability of this mattress over a period of 10 years compared to an all foam bed. Purple Mattress Too Hot
The Purple Hybrid is more costly than the original Purple and may not be the best choice for those looking to spend as low as possible on a bed. You might find it reasonable if you want to invest in your nights of sleep.
Purple Hybrid mattresses can be purchased in sizes from twinXL to California queen. Prices start at $1299 and go up until $1,899. The bed is not usually discounted, but there may be a promotion for free sheets or pillows.
Purple Hybrid mattresses have metal coils that are encased with foam for support and softness.
