Purple Hybrid is available in three models with different Purple Grid gel layers.
The Purple Hybrid measures approximately 11 inches high and has four layers. Let’s take a look at the layers of this bed to get an idea of how Purple and Purple are made.
A thin layer of basic foam, about one-inch thick, that supports the thick pocketed coil layers above.
A thick system of 7.5-inch pocketed coils, individually wrapped with fabric to help limit motion transfer across the mattress. This is the reason this mattress is so supportive.
A thin half an inch of foam to help neutralize the feel of the pocketed coils in the bed’s foundation.
Around 2 inches of the brand’s special Hyper-Elastic Polymer, laid out in a grid formation. This is the main layer which distinguishes it the Purple Hybrid mattresses. Every mattress has a different thickness. It provides most of Purple’s comfort.
To give the sides more support and stability, dense foam slabs are placed around the edges.
