The Purple Hybrid measures approximately 11 inches high and has four layers. Here’s a simple breakdown of the bed’s layers so you get an idea of what makes Purple, Purple:
A thin slab made of basic foam approximately one inch thick that supports the thick layer of pocketed coils above.
The mattress is made up of thick pockets of coils measuring 7.5 inches in diameter, each wrapped in fabric to limit movement transfer. It’s what makes this mattress so supportive.
To neutralize the feeling of the coils within the foundation of the bed, add a thin 1/2 inch of foam.
