Purple Hybrid comes as three different models. Each model has a different thickness Purple Grid gel layer.
The Purple Hybrid is four layers thick and around 11 inches tall. Let’s take a look at the layers of this bed to get an idea of how Purple and Purple are made.
A thin slab of basic Foam about an inch in thickness, which supports the thick pocketed coil above.
To limit motion transfer, the mattress features a thick system of 7.5-inch pocketsed coils that are individually wrapped with fabric. It’s the main reason why this mattress is so supportive.
A thin, half-inch of foam is used to neutralize the sensation of the bed’s foundation.
The Hyper-Elastic polymer of the brand is 2 inches thick. It’s laid out in a grid structure. This is the layer that makes it different from the Purple Hybrids. Each mattress has an individual thickness. It’s soft, bouncy, and provides most Purple Hybrid’s comfort.
To give the sides more support and stability, dense foam slabs are placed around the edges.

The two Purple Hybrid Premier beds are the top-tier mattress options from the brand. The top layers are what really make the difference in construction.
Purple 3 has a layer of Hyper elastic Polymer at its top that measures 3 inches, while Purple 4 has 4 inches.
