We’ll also provide our top suggestions and tips for selecting the right mattress for your budget, and summarize the top mattresses currently available. Helix Mattress Weight

What is the most suitable kind of mattress?

The short answer is that there isn’t any one type of mattress. Why? Because everyone is different, so the right type for you depends on your body, wellbeing and the way you sleep. It’s also because the differences between each type of mattress are increasingly negligible. Materials have advanced so much in the last five years that it’s difficult to notice any perceptible difference when you’re sleeping on them.

That’s good news for you as it means that you’ll be able to choose any of the choices from our top mattress guide and you’ll be satisfied with the mattress you choose whatever it is, regardless of whether the mattress was made of copper-infused memory foam coils, cooling latex, or a cutting edge combination of all-natural substances.

It is useful to know what each mattress type is prior to making the final decision. With that in mind here’s a look at the most popular options, while highlighting the main differences between them… Helix Mattress Weight

Memory foam mattress

It is the Nectar Memory Foam mattress has three-inches of gel memory foam. Memory foam is a fantastic choice for those who want to feel ‘hugged’ by their mattress. The material conforms to your body, offering more comfort than springs and excels at absorption of movement. This alone makes it a great option for people who share an uneasy bed with a partner (but it’s not the best choice if you prefer some bounce in your mattress – it’s best to choose an innerspring or a hybrid).

The main benefit in memory foam is that it allows you to sink into it – that is why it provides higher than average cushioning. Similar to any mattress made of all foam this kind of material may be warmer in the night than other mattresses. However, the top memory foam mattresses are now equipped with cooling components designed to regulate your temperature during sleep. Helix Mattress Weight

Innerspring mattress

Saatva’s most popular innerspring mattress, the Saatva Classic, is available with three firmness levels. (Image source: Saatva) Innerspring mattress utilize a coil-based support system to provide comfort and structure. The amount, height, and style of the coils can vary and while traditional innerspring mattresses were constructed by interconnecting coils, today the term is now used to describe pocket spring mattresses.

They are made up of individual coils wrapped within their own pocket and can move independently – providing better pressure relief, greater comfort, and greater motion isolation. In general, the more pocket springs in a mattress, the better support. Additionally, you can use one of the best mattress toppers to immediately add an additional layer of support and ease.

One of the main differences between innerspring mattresses and all-foam choices is their buoyancy: they allow you to sleep in them, instead of sinking into them. That’s good news for sleepers who are hot because this means that your body heat is less likely to be trapped within the mattress. In addition, the springs let greater air circulation than thick foam. Innerspring mattresses also have more bounce than all-foam options, and can be cheaper. Helix Mattress Weight

Hybrid mattresses

Hybrids such as Dreamcloud bring you the best of both worlds: you benefit from the tailored cushioning of memory foam gel or latex and also enjoy the soft bounce and enhanced airflow of springs. The coils used in hybrid mattresses are typically smaller though, and you’ll often (but not always) have a thicker layers of memory foam.

A lot of the top mattresses are hybrid models. They’re an option that can be adapted to makes a good choice for couples with differing preference for sleeping, and are also a good choice for hot sleepers who love the comfort of foam. Helix Mattress Weight

Latex mattresses

Plushbeds is made of GOLS organic-certified latex from the company’s co-owned farmers’ collectives. Latex mattresses are made of a highly sturdy latex foam made of natural materials, not synthetic materials (which memory foam mattress are made from). If you’re looking for an organic and durable mattress, then latex is the perfect mattress material for you.

It isn’t as dense as memory foam, making latex mattresses less susceptible to overheating. Latex is also a great choice for contouring and bounce. On top of that the incredible quality and durability make latex an excellent option for those who want their mattress to really last and last for a long time, but it’s not cheap! How do I know the right mattress size?

One golden rule for choosing the ideal mattress is to make sure it’s at least 10cm wider than the person who is tallest on it. Width-wise, if you’re sharing the bed, you and your partner should be able to put your hands under your head with your elbows not touching. If you’re sleeping on your own and you’re not sharing a bed, you’ll be able to get the size mattress if you are able to place your hands underneath your head without touching the edge of your mattress. Therefore, measure the distance and when you pick a mattress that’s wider than this, you’ll be fine.

Most of the mattress options in our top mattresses are offered in twin full, twin, queen, king and California king sizes. Some are available in split versions too, which enable you to choose a different mattress firmness to your partner. There are also mattresses with a different level of firmness on each side (soft on one side, and firm to the opposite).

In general, the larger or deeper the mattress the higher the price. Most twin mattresses are priced just a few hundred dollars more than queen-sized, while the king and California king sizes average about $200 more than queen size. Hybrid mattresses, luxury and premier versions generally cost more than the basic/original mattress prices listed.

What is the right mattress firmness?

Medium firm is consistently the most popular mattress choice and that’s the reason why most premium mattresses fall within the range of 7 on the firmness scale (10 is the degree of firmness).

But mattresses are also subjective. Comfort and firmness are based on many factors, including your weight of your body, your height, body shape, sleeping style, temperature and whether you experience any discomfort, for example, hips or back. So, one individual’s experience on the mattress could be completely different to that of someone else; and whether you would prefer a more soft or firmer mattress will be dependent on your personal preference.

(That’s why we use various people to test our mattresses – and that’s why we look through thousands of reviews by users. Be aware of this when noting our “firmness gauge,” that ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most firm. You may discover a mattress that is more or less firm than what we’ve observed.) Nevertheless, there is some general guidelines to help you decide what level of mattress firmness you are most comfortable with…

1. Think about your preferred sleeping position. Back sleepers usually require a moderately firm mattress. This provides the optimal of both worlds, providing neutral spine alignment while supporting shoulders and hips, but without putting too excessive pressure on them. If a mattress feels too firm, those who sleep on their backs might find their spines forming an uncomfortable ‘U’ shape and this can cause strain. If it’s too hard the natural curve of ‘S’ of your spine won’t be properly supported.

Side sleepers need good pressure relief in their hips and shoulders, and for their body contours to be supported. A mattress that’s medium to moderately soft is usually the best choice. If the mattress is too soft, though, the spine won’t align well with shoulders and hips. Memory foam is usually the best mattress choice for sleepers on the side because of its superior features for contouring.

People who sleep on their sides tend to do better with a firmer mattress. This can help lift the hips upwards, ensuring they’re aligned with the spine and prevents the spine from forming an ‘U. If the hips are too stiff it will be uncomfortable – particularly for women – and will not allow the spine to naturally curve. Too soft and it can seem like a suffocating sensation. Hybrid and innerspring mattresses may be a better choice than foam for front sleepers.

Sleepers who are a combination should select in accordance with their preferred sleeping position (the place you usually sleep in). If you don’t already have one, an average firm mattress provides the greatest comfort and support in all sleeping positions.

2. Take into consideration your body weight. lighter sleepers that weigh less than 130lbs don’t sink as far into the mattress, and could be more comfortable on softer mattresses due to this. They’re between 2 to 4 on the firmness scale. However, a medium-firm mattress could also be a great option.

The 130-230 pound range of people are generally better suited to medium and medium-firm mattresses. They range from 7 and 7 on the firmness scale.

Heavier sleepers who weigh above the 230lbs mark can benefit from firmer mattresses, between an 8-10 rating, which prevent them sinking through the different comfort levels.

3. Use the risk-free sleep trial It can take up to three weeks for your body’s body to adjust to the new mattress. This is particularly true if the old mattress was not supporting you properly, so don’t assume that if you first wake up sore the reason is wrong – it could be your body getting used to better support. The majority of mattress trials require that you stay for a minimum of 21 days for this reason.

In addition to how the mattresses feels like, there’s also a quick trick you can use to check whether it’s the right firmness for you. Lay down on your back and put your hand in the small of your back: if there’s a big gap, it’s too firm; if there’s no gap, then the mattress is too soft.

What is the time it will take to adjust a mattress that is brand new?

This is contingent on the kind of mattress you’re buying and the firmness of it However, it generally could take anything from 30 days to three months to get used in the latest levels of support and ease. It’s the reason why some mattress companies ask you to sleep on your new mattress for at least 30 nights before they’ll arrange a collection if you still don’t like the mattress.

If you’re considering a different kind of mattress from your previous one, as an example, perhaps you previously slept on a foam mattress but you’re now looking at a hybrid mattress – you’ll be able to tell the difference for a longer. To help you break in your new mattress, make sure you allow it time to completely decompress. If you do this, the mattress will be able to give the best support and comfort right from the beginning. It can take anywhere from a few hours up to 72 hours to complete this process, so be patient.

You can relax on various parts of your mattress (so don’t just lounge in the same spot) and continue to sleep on it in order to help it “bed in” faster. Make sure you don’t sleep in another mattress (if you have one) or on your sofa, because the faster you break in your new mattress, the quicker you’ll be able to enjoy every minute of your time on it.

What’s the most comfortable mattress for 2021?

We believe that we believe that the Nectar Memory Foam is the most comfortable mattress available since it is a great value for money. It’s comfortable and supportive and also very competitively priced. The typical price for a queen-sized bed is $799, which is a reduction from $1,198 – and all sizes are sold for sale at Nectar with a per-permanent $400 discount plus $399-worth of free accessories. It’s an incredible deal on its own. However, Nectar Memory Foam is also an excellent choice for a long time. Nectar Memory Foam also comes with a trial of 365 nights and a lifetime warranty. Also, the return policy is straightforward and fair.

If you’ve got an extra amount to spend or would prefer an innerspring mattress that has more bounce, we recommend the luxury hybrid innerspring Saatva Classic mattress. It’s about $1,300 for a queen bed – although there’s usually a $200 discount to be had If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel comfort, this is the one. It’s also approved by the American Chiropractic Association, making it a great option if you suffer from back pain.

Another perk to buying from Saatva is Saatva’s free White Glove Delivery service. It’s a part of the service Saatva’s team of experts will set your new mattress in the room of your choice and take away your old one if you plan it ahead of time.

If you’re looking for the best value for money, you should go with the Nectar. If you want hotel-luxury snoozing, and you have more money to spend, then give the Saatva the chance. Helix Mattress Weight

Helix Mattress Weight

Helix bed mattress is a tailored or customized service to your sleep problems occurring from improper bed linen. Every individual has a particular sleeping style. Some individuals sleep well on their back, laying directly on the bed and looking up. Some individuals sleep well on their side. Some individuals take up quaint postures to make themselves comfortable. If people do not have the very same approach to sleeping or the very same sleeping posture and definitely not the same sleeping pattern, be it time of the night or duration, then a single bed mattress or particularly a mass produced mattress might not be matched for any and sundry. When you consider this truth, Helix mattress appears to be the only logical option. It is a mattress that is made particularly for you and your partner, to match your needs and to guarantee that you and your partner have terrific satiating sleep every night. Helix Mattress Weight

The Approach to Personalization of Helix Mattress

Helix bed mattress needs its clients to take a Sleep Quiz. This is more of a survey that helps the sleep specialists and engineers at Helix to comprehend your requirements. This Sleep Quiz takes two to three minutes. Helix treats sleep as science and the bed mattress as a piece of innovation, which is not really different from how contending brands like Casper, Leesa, Purple or Nectar approach their own bed mattress. As soon as the quiz is taken, Helix sleep professionals and engineers work on the style, material and every physical attribute of the bed mattress that will fit the needs of the specific person or couple who had taken the quiz. This procedure is called the Helix Sleep System by the business. The business takes a few days to design and manufacture the personalized Helix mattress. The bed mattress is produced in US based factories and it eventually gets shipped within 10 service days. You would get free shipping anywhere within the United States. Most of the times, the personalized Helix bed mattress is delivered within ten service days.

Attributes of Helix Mattress

The most notable quality of Helix bed mattress is its ability to really understand the sleeper. The quiz assists at the same time. There is the normal protector for the mattress to avert wear & tear and to safeguard the mattress from spills and dirt. The personalization is truly rewarding because the designers, sleep professionals and engineers don’t simply come up with basic features throughout the whole mattress when there is a couple with various preferences. They come up with unique attributes for each half or side of the bed mattress. This takes care of the requirements of a couple that has various sleeping patterns, postures and choices or requirements.

The most precious benefit of Helix bed mattress is the fact that one can actually get rid of all the sleeping issues that one has actually been coping with for many years. It needs to be noted that most sleeping issues for healthy people develop from some characteristic or the other of the bed or the mattress. People who require softer bed mattress will have pain in the back if they sleep on a firmer mattress. People who have hypertension may not discover it extremely comfy with memory foam bed mattress but can always choose memory foal gel bed mattress with huge cells that would not trap the temperature and help with a cooler sleep. When one takes the quiz and expresses every requirement, opportunities are extremely high that the Helix mattress will be precisely what the individual needs and hence the possibilities of pain in the back, sprain, knee discomfort or any type of pain in any joint will be seriously decreased. Helix Mattress Weight

Helix Mattress Vs Competitors

As you check out Helix evaluations, a few truths will emerge in no time. Helix bed mattress is more expensive than many other bed mattress. This is reasonable offered it is individualized. Most other brands do not make personalized mattresses. The guarantee and life expectancy or durability of Helix mattress could be much better. If you check out consumer Helix mattress reviews on Amazon and other sites then you would realize that movement seclusion and heating concerns are not issues that you should fret about when you buy a Helix bed mattress but you do need to understand the type of mattress you require. At the end of the day, the style and engineering of the bed mattress will be according to exactly what you reveal so your options are the secret.

It is hard to compare Helix mattress with its rivals such as Casper, Leesa or Purple due to the fact that they are basic and Helix is a personalized mattress. Helix is thinner than most bed mattress at ten inches. That is a basic function. It will have four layers, which is more or less exactly what most other brands opt for. Instead of memory foam, Helix bed mattress has micro-coils. There are two more layers of poly foam and base foam respectively. The topmost layer is vibrant foam. The top layer is two inches, so is the 3rd layer which is of poly foam. Base foam is four inches and the second layer from top is a bit more than two inches.

The most notable emphasize of Helix Vs Casper is the rate. Every size has a cost difference of $50 to $100. Assessing Helix Vs Leesa will lead you to presume that the latter deals better quality sleep however it is less long lasting than the former. Helix Vs Purple will draw you to the topmost cover of the latter that is far more comfortable however the previous has the power of personalization. Personalization will constantly weigh heavy in favor of Helix mattress evaluations.

Helix Mattress Vs Nectar Mattress

Nectar mattress is mild yet firm, it has a mixed cover of cotton and tencel, the thickness is eleven inches and it weighs anywhere from 45 lbs to 89 pounds depending upon the size. Nectar utilizes a layer of 1 inch gel memory foam, the second layer is 3 inch memory foam, the 3rd layer is 1.75 inch memory foam and then a 5.25 inches support foam layer at the base. The smallest size of Nectar bed mattress sells for $500 and California King sells for $900. There is complimentary shipping and a whole year or 365 nights of trial. There is lifetime service warranty and you can easily conserve more than $100 on every size. That is not the type of saving you can get with Helix mattress voucher. Helix has only 10 years service warranty, it is firmer and thinner, the cover is polyester and the weight varies from 40 pounds to 100 pounds. The cost is much greater from $600 to $1195. The trial period is for only a hundred nights.

Helix Mattress Firmness and Feel

You may have noticed that stiffness was already mentioned within this list. This is because one of the most crucial elements to consider when purchasing the best mattress is its firmness (and the way that firmness impacts the comfort). These factors will tell you the mattress’s suitableness for your sleep position (s). Let’s have a review of the comfort and firmness that comes with the Helix mattress range.

What Is the Firmness of Helix Mattresses?

The Helix mattresses are available in a range of different hardness options, with the softest being moderately soft and the most firm being quite firm. Its Helix Sunset is on the softer end of the range and we evaluated it with a score at 5.5 out of 10 on the firmness scale. (A 6.5/10 would be the industry standard for medium firmness.) Its Helix Midnight is next, and we gave it a 6/10 that means it’s less firm than average. The Helix Midnight as well as the Helix Dusk sit somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Both mattresses have a score of 7/10, which is a bit more firm than the average. Helix Twilight and the Helix Twilight and Helix Dawn are at the firmer side of the spectrum, with both getting an 7.5/10 assessment (firmer than the average).

It’s crucial to keep in mind that the degree of firmness is a personal preference. In terms of the firmness of the mattress, you can assess these mattresses differently based on your body weight and personal preferences. People who are heavier, for instance might find them more firm as they can push deeper into the mattress and reach the support layers. However, those who are lighter may find that these mattresses are softer since they are higher in the comfort layer of each bed(s).

Sleeping on the Helix Mattresses

We slept on Helix beds for an long time to get an idea of the experience it’s like to sleep on each model in different positions. Take a peek at the results!

Helix Sunset Mattress

Helix Mattress WeightDue to its softness due to its softness, the Helix Sunset wasn’t comfortable enough to be a good back sleeper. Our hips sank a little too deep down into our mattress which caused the spine to be misaligned.

While the Helix Sunset’s softness isn’t ideal for back sleepers, it’s ideal for side sleepers. We felt very relaxed in this position as the mattress’s softness cushioned any stress points around the shoulder and hip. It’s actually one of the greatest mattresses for hip pain that we’ve found.

It is apparent that the Helix Sunset is not supportive enough for stomach sleep due to its softness. Our hips sank too deeply into the mattress, pulling the spine out of alignment just as they did when we were asleep back.

Helix Moonlight Mattress

helix-moonlightAs a back sleeper, back sleeping, the Helix Moonlight was adequate but not exceptional. If you’re planning on sleeping in this position for the entire night, you’ll almost certainly need a more firm mattress that provides extra support and aids in maintaining the proper alignment of your spine.

It is the Helix Moonlight is an excellent choice for side sleeping because of its comfort. There was no unwelcome tension around the hip or shoulder.

It is the Helix Moonlight, like the Helix Sunset, is not adequate for stomach-sleeping. Our hips sank too deeply in the mattress leading the spine to misalign.

Helix Midnight Mattress

Helix Midnight Luxe FeatureWhen we lay down on the Helix Midnight, we felt fantastic. We enjoyed a touch of pressure alleviation without sacrificing spinal alignment thanks to the mattress’s great balance of support and comfort. It is the greatest mattress for back sleepers that we have reviewed on this list.

Although the Helix Midnight is firmer in comparison to the Helix Sunset and Moonlight We were able to rest comfortably on our backs on the mattress. It is a good pressure-relief mattress between the hip and shoulder in our opinion.

While stomach sleeping on the Helix Midnight, we were well, but not super. People who sleep in this position all night should look for an extra firm mattress that offers greater spinal support.

Helix Dusk Mattress

helix-duskIt’s the Helix Dusk is more supportive than other mattresses we’ve tested, which may explain why we felt comfortable while lying upon our backs. We’re confident that we’ll have an ideal spinal alignment throughout the night because of the mattress’s suppleness.

It’s probably not surprising it is that Helix Dusk feels a little too firm for a side sleeper given that we’ve moved into the firmer end on the scale. We noticed some pressure on the hip and shoulder area that would cause discomfort if you were to sleep in this position for a long time.

The Helix Dusk should suit stomach sleepers who weigh around average because it will help in maintaining a proper spinal alignment. However, heavier stomach sleepers may not receive sufficient support in this model.

Helix Twilight Mattress

helix-twilightThe Helix Twilight was proved to be the ideal bed for back discomfort. It is ideal for those who require extra support due to increased weight back pain, other reasons. The firmer structure of this mattress aids in keeping the hips elevated and aligned to the spinal column.

Since the Helix Twilight is slightly firmer than other mattresses It was difficult to sleep on our sides on this mattress. We felt as if we were being suffocated by the hips and shoulders.

Most stomach sleepers should find the Helix Twilight to be a good fit, since the mattress’s firmness should provide enough of spinal support in this position.

Helix Dawn Mattress

helix-dawnBack sleepers who favor a firm mattress will appreciate the high degree of support. But, those who want an occasional relief from pressure when lying back could find this mattress to be too firm.

The Helix Dawn is far too hard to be used for sleeping on your side, and you’ll end up having a lot of pressure points in your shoulder and hip. The Helix Dawn that is soft will be much more suitable for those who sleep on their sides.

It is the Helix Dawn Mattress is one of the greatest mattress for stomach sleepers in our opinion. Throughout the night the firm and supportive mattress will keep your hips up and in alignment in alignment with your spine.

What Do the Helix Mattresses Feel Like?

Helix mattresses have a hybrid design that incorporates foam over coils. Despite these similarities however, each model has its own distinctive character.

The Helix Sunset offers a soft top and a well-balanced foam feel. The plush comfort layer encourages sleepers to relax and provides the mattress with the feeling of a slow-moving.

It is worth noting that the Helix Moonlight, despite its softness, offers a lively sensation, particularly when compared with the Sunset, which is less sensitive.

The Helix Midnight similar to it’s predecessor, the Helix Sunset, has an even feel and slow-moving top layer. The Midnight is firmer than the Sunset which allows sleepers to sink a little more deeply in the upper layer.

The Helix Dusk is solid and bouncy. This is due to the use dynamic foam in the top layer, and coils in the supporting layer.

It is similar to the Helix Twilight, like the Helix Sunset and Midnight, has a more sluggish top. It’s still a solid mattress despite the comfort layer being slightly more comfortable.

The Helix Dawn, like the Helix Dusk, has a bouncy, firm feel to it because to the use of foam that is dynamic (in the layer of comfort) as well as coils (in the support layer).

Average Weight Sleepers – 130 lbs – 230 lbs

Helix Midnight (which is a combination of pressure reduction and spinal support) or the Helix Midnight (which combines spinal support and pressure reduction) and Helix Dusk (which combines pressure reduction and spinal support) or Helix Dusk are likely to be preferred by average-weight back sleepers (which provides a more firmer spine support).

Sleeping on the Helix Late at Night (if your preference is a more firm feeling) or the softer and more pressure-relieving Helix Moonlight (or Sunset) is most probable for people who are average-weight side sleepers.

Finally, stomach sleepers of moderate weight should consider the supporting Helix Twilight or Dawn.

Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs

The Helix Dusk should provide appropriate support for heavyweight back sleepers, as it relieves pressure while maintaining the alignment of the spine.

The softest models in the Helix range, like Helix Moonlight or Helix Moonlight or Helix Sunset, should provide sufficient of pressure relief for heavyweight side sleepers.

Heavyweight stomach sleepers however are likely to move towards The Helix Dawn (the firmest mattress of the range) to ensure proper spinal support.

Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs

There should be a variety of models for light back sleepers: The Helix Moonlight, Midnight, and Dusk all offer plenty of spinal support and different degrees of pressure relief to accommodate different sleeping styles.

Similar to the side sleepers that are lightweight, you can pick from the Helix Midnight, Moonlight, or Sunset, which should all give adequate pressure relief with the ability to alter the level of hardness to suit their requirements.

Finally stomach sleepers will appreciate the Helix Twilight and Dawn to be the most supportive.

Helix Mattresses Construction

As far as construction is concerned, each all of the Helix mattresses are built in the same manner: They all have the same cover and the foam comfort layers are placed over individually wrapped the coils to support them.

All Helix mattresses, in particular, have A SoftTouch Design cover that is soft, elastic, and air-tight. This design allows air to circulate freely throughout the mattress’s top. In addition, every Helix model has a support layer made up of individually wrapped coils stacked over a high-density base foam which gives the mattress it’s overall design and strength.

The similarities end there for the most part. The cushions’ comfort layers differ in their size, stiffness, layout and the types of foam. Additional materials are also available on some versions. Let’s take a examine it more carefully!.

Helix Sunset

The comfort layer of the Helix Sunset is made of pressure-relieving Memory Plus Foam, which provides the slow-moving, comfortable feel of memory foam that it is known for. The transition layer is made from Helix Dynamic foam, a latex-foam replacement that’s firmer, bouncier, and more supporting, sits under memory Plus Foam.

Helix Moonlight

The Helix Sunset’s top comfort layer is comprised of Memory Plus Foam, the Helix Midnight’s main comfort layer and the transition layer are made from Helix Dynamic Foam. This is yet another latex-foam choice, and the multiple layers of this foam gives it a buoyant feel when compared to that of the Helix Sunset.

Helix Midnight

Memory Plus Foam is the main comfort layer in the Helix Midnight, and it provides pressure reduction and body shaping. A layer of transitional high-quality polyfoam is placed underneath the Memory Plus Foam. The layer is extremely flexible, meaning that the mattress in general responds to pressure more quickly.

Helix Dusk

The Helix Dusk’s primary comfort layer is constructed out of Helix Dynamic Foam, a latex-foam substitute that’s bouncy and responsive. The layer is made comprised of Memory Plus Foam sits beneath this layer. (Think of Dusk’s design as being identical to that in that of the Helix Sunset, but reversed.) Helix Dynamic Foam has been placed over Memory Plus Foam to create a bouncy and responsive surface. Memory Plus Foam offers pressure relief as sleepers sink deeper into the mattress.

Helix Twilight

Helix Twilight, like the Helix Twilight, like the Helix Midnight, has a slow-moving Memory Plus Foam layer above a dense, high-grade polyfoam transition layer. This Memory Plus Foam adds some convenience, but don’t get deceived by this being a mattress that is firm with very little give.

Helix Dawn

Last but not least, the Helix Dawn comes with the Helix dynamic foam comfort layer, which is sandwiched over a dense, high-grade polyfoam transition layer. This combination produces a firm, bouncy, and comfortable sleep surface with very minimal give.

Helix Mattresses Performance

We tested our Helix mattress through a series of tests to determine their performance in key areas such as the regulation of temperature and edge support, motion transfer, and many more. Read on to learn the results!

Sleeping Hot or Cold

Do you feel hot or cold when sleeping? If you’re still concerned about overheating, consider purchasing a LUXE version of any mattress.

Motion Transfer

According to our tests, some models outperform other models when it comes to keeping out any disturbances that might occur on the mattress’s surface. The Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight provided the best motion-isolating. This is due they have a memory foam that is slower moving at the top of each of the models, which do an excellent job of absorption of motion. These are the top mattresses for couples that are available on the market.

Edge Support

Every Helix mattress provided an excellent edge support across all models. While sitting and sleeping on the edges of each model, we felt safe.

Durability

All of the Helix mattresses are manufactured with strong coils and high-density foams to ensure they’ll last for a long time.

Off-Gassing

We did notice some off-gassing from all six Helix mattresses at first. This will go away within a couple of days, or perhaps sooner.

Noise

We didn’t notice any noticeable noise while moving about on one of these mattresses at the time of our test. Since each mattress has coils, it’s possible that they’ll begin to squeak with time.

Sex

When searching for a sex mattress, most people are concerned about how easy it is to change places on their mattress. Because all of the Helix mattresses have coils, they must be sufficient to let you move around easily on any of them. The models that have memory foam on the top layer (particularly, those that have memory foam in the top layer (such as Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight) might make changing positions more difficult due to their slower movement.

Information on the Warranty

A 100-night trial of sleep and a 10-year mattress guarantee are included with every Helix mattress.
