Helix bed mattress is an individualized or customized option to your sleep problems developing out of improper bedding. Every individual has a particular sleeping style. Some people sleep well on their back, laying directly on the bed and looking up. Some people sleep well on their side. Some people use up quaint postures to make themselves comfortable. If people do not have the same method to sleeping or the very same sleeping posture and definitely not the exact same sleeping pattern, be it time of the night or period, then a single mattress or particularly a mass produced mattress may not be fit for any and sundry. When you consider this truth, Helix bed mattress seems to be the only reasonable alternative. It is a bed mattress that is made specifically for you and your partner, to suit your requirements and to make sure that you and your partner have great satiating sleep every night. Helix Mattress Try In Store

The Approach to Personalization of Helix Mattress

Helix mattress needs its clients to take a Sleep Quiz. This is more of a survey that helps the sleep specialists and engineers at Helix to understand your requirements. This Sleep Quiz takes 2 to 3 minutes. Helix deals with sleep as science and the mattress as a piece of innovation, which is not extremely different from how completing brand names like Casper, Leesa, Purple or Nectar approach their own mattresses. Once the quiz is taken, Helix sleep specialists and engineers deal with the style, material and every physical characteristic of the bed mattress that will suit the requirements of the specific person or couple who had taken the test. This process is called the Helix Sleep System by the company. The company takes a few days to create and manufacture the personalized Helix mattress. The bed mattress is manufactured in United States based factories and it ultimately gets shipped within 10 company days. You would get free shipping anywhere within the US. For the most parts, the customized Helix bed mattress is provided within 10 company days.

Attributes of Helix Mattress

The most noteworthy characteristic of Helix bed mattress is its capability to genuinely understand the sleeper. The test assists at the same time. There is the typical protector for the bed mattress to avert wear & tear and to secure the bed mattress from spills and dirt. The personalization is really beneficial since the designers, sleep experts and engineers don’t just come up with standard functions across the whole mattress when there is a couple with different choices. They come up with unique qualities for each half or side of the bed mattress. This addresses the needs of a couple that has various sleeping patterns, postures and preferences or requirements.

The most valuable advantage of Helix bed mattress is that one can in fact get rid of all the sleeping issues that one has actually been living with over the years. It needs to be kept in mind that the majority of sleeping issues for healthy individuals arise from some attribute or the other of the bed or the bed mattress. Individuals who require softer mattress will have back pain if they sleep on a firmer mattress. People who have hypertension might not find it very comfortable with memory foam bed mattress but can constantly choose memory foal gel mattress with huge cells that would not trap the body heat and help with a cooler sleep. When one takes the quiz and expresses every requirement, opportunities are extremely high that the Helix bed mattress will be precisely what the person needs and hence the possibilities of back pain, sprain, knee discomfort or any sort of pain in any joint will be seriously minimized. Helix Mattress Try In Store

Helix Mattress Vs Competitors

As you check out Helix evaluations, a couple of facts will become apparent in no time. Helix mattress is costlier than many other bed mattress. This is understandable given it is personalized. Most other brand names do not make personalized mattresses. The service warranty and life expectancy or sturdiness of Helix mattress could be much better. If you check out consumer Helix mattress evaluates on Amazon and other sites then you would realize that movement seclusion and heating issues are not problems that you should stress over when you purchase a Helix bed mattress but you do have to know the type of bed mattress you require. At the end of the day, the style and engineering of the mattress will be according to what you reveal so your choices are the key.

It is difficult to compare Helix bed mattress with its rivals such as Casper, Leesa or Purple due to the fact that they are standard and Helix is a personalized mattress. Helix is thinner than a lot of mattresses at 10 inches. That is a basic feature. It will have four layers, which is basically exactly what most other brands select. Instead of memory foam, Helix bed mattress has micro-coils. There are two more layers of poly foam and base foam respectively. The upper layer is dynamic foam. The top layer is 2 inches, so is the third layer which is of poly foam. Base foam is 4 inches and the second layer from top is a bit more than 2 inches.

The most significant highlight of Helix Vs Casper is the cost. Every size has a price difference of $50 to $100. Evaluating Helix Vs Leesa will lead you to presume that the latter deals much better quality sleep however it is less resilient than the former. Helix Vs Purple will draw you to the topmost cover of the latter that is far more comfortable but the previous has the power of personalization. Customization will always weigh heavy in favor of Helix mattress evaluations.

Helix Mattress Vs Nectar Mattress

Nectar bed mattress is mild yet firm, it has a blended cover of cotton and tencel, the density is eleven inches and it weighs anywhere from 45 pounds to 89 lbs depending on the size. Nectar utilizes a layer of 1 inch gel memory foam, the 2nd layer is 3 inch memory foam, the 3rd layer is 1.75 inch memory foam then a 5.25 inches support foam layer at the base. The smallest size of Nectar mattress sells for $500 and California King costs $900. There is complimentary shipping and an entire year or 365 nights of trial. There is lifetime service warranty and you can quickly save more than $100 on every size. That is not the type of conserving you can get with Helix bed mattress discount coupon. Helix has only 10 years warranty, it is firmer and thinner, the cover is polyester and the weight ranges from 40 lbs to 100 pounds. The rate is much greater from $600 to $1195. The trial period is for only a hundred nights.

We’ll also give you our best suggestions and tips for selecting the best mattress that fits your budget and summarize the top mattresses available at the moment. Helix Mattress Try In Store

What is the most suitable mattress?

The simple answer is that there’s not any one type of mattress. Why? Because everyone is different, so the right type for you is dependent on your body, your health and your sleep style. It’s also because the differences between different types of mattress are increasingly negligible. Materials have advanced so much in the last five years alone that it’s difficult to notice any perceptible distinction when sleeping on mattresses.

That’s good news for you: it means you should be able to pick any of the options in our best mattress guide and you’ll be content – whatever it is, regardless of whether the mattress was constructed of copper-infused memory foam coils, cooling latex or a cutting-edge combination of all-natural substances.

But, it’s helpful to know what each mattress type is prior to making the final decision. With this in mind, this article will walk you through the most popular options, while highlighting the main differences between them… Helix Mattress Try In Store

Mattresses made of memory foam

It is the Nectar Memory Foam mattress has three-inches of gel memory foam. Memory foam is a fantastic option for anyone who likes to feel “hugged” with their bed. It conforms to your body, offering better pressure relief than spring-based options and is great in absorbing motion. That last benefit alone makes it a great option for people who share an uneasy bed with a partner (but it’s not the best choice in case you like bouncing in your mattress ; it’s best to choose an innerspring or hybrid instead).

The main benefit in memory foam is the fact that you can sink into it, which is what provides the higher than average cushioning. Similar to any mattress made of all foam, such dense material can be warmer in the night than other options. That said, the best memory foam mattresses today are equipped with cooling components designed to regulate your temperature while you sleep. Helix Mattress Try In Store

Innerspring mattress

Saatva’s flagship innerspring mattress Saatva Classic, its flagship innerspring mattress Saatva Classic, comes with three firmness levels. (Image credit: Saatva) Innerspring mattress make use of a coil-based support mechanism to provide comfort and structure. The quantity, height and design of the coils can vary and whereas traditionally, innerspring mattresses were built with interconnected coils, the term is increasingly used for mattresses made of pocket springs.

They have individual coils wrapped within their own pocket and can move independently – giving improved pressure relief, more comfort and more effective motion isolation. In general, the more pocket springs you have in your mattress, the more support it will provide. Additionally, you can make use of one of the top mattress toppers to instantly add an extra layer of support and ease.

One key difference between innerspring mattresses and all-foam options is that they’re buoyant: you sleep over them rather than sinking into them. This is a good thing for those who sleep hot, since it means that your body heat won’t be trapped within the mattress, plus springs permit more air to circulate, unlike the dense foam. Innerspring mattresses also have more bounce than all-foam mattresses and can be less expensive. Helix Mattress Try In Store

Hybrid mattresses

Hybrids like Dreamcloud provide the best of both worlds: you get the customized comfort of memory foam gel or latex, while also getting the soft bounce and enhanced airflow from springs. The coils in hybrid mattresses are typically smaller than the ones in traditional mattresses, and you’ll often (but often not) have a more slender memory foam layer.

The majority of top mattresses are hybrid. They’re a versatile option that make a good compromise for couples with different preference for sleeping, and are also a good choice for those who enjoy the cushioned feel of foam. Helix Mattress Try In Store

Latex mattresses

Plushbeds is a product made of GOLS organically certified latex from co-owned farmers of the company’s collectives. Latex mattresses use a super robust latex foam that is made of natural materials, not synthetic substances (which memory foam mattress are constructed from). If you are looking for an organic, durable mattress, then latex is the ideal mattress material for you.

It isn’t as dense like memory foam which makes latex mattresses less susceptible to overheating. Latex also offers good cushioning and bounce. Additionally the exceptional durability makes latex a fantastic option if you’re looking to get your mattress to last for a long time, but it doesn’t come inexpensive! Helix Mattress Try In Store

How do I know the right size mattress?

A good rule of thumb for selecting the correct size mattress is to ensure it’s 10cm longer than the person who is tallest on it. If you’re sharing an area of a bed, both you and your partner must be able to lay your hands under your head without your elbows touching. If you’re sleeping alone, you’ll have the right size mattress if you can put your hands under your head and not touch the sides of the mattress. So measure that distance and when you pick one that is wider than this, you’ll be fine.

The majority of the mattresses listed in our best mattress reviews are in twin full, twin, queen, king and California King sizes. Some are available in split versions too, which enable you to choose a different mattress firmness to your partner. There are also mattresses with a different level of firmness for each side (soft for one and hard on the other).

Generally speaking, the bigger as well as deeper the mattress the higher the price. Most twin mattresses cost just a few hundred dollars more that the size of a queen, in contrast, the king size and California King sizes are typically about $200 more than queen size. Hybrid mattresses, luxurious and premium versions typically are more expensive than the standard or original mattress prices which are listed.

How do I know the proper mattress firmness?

Medium firm is always the most sought-after mattress which is why the majority of premium mattresses fall within the range of 7 on the firmness scale (10 is the degree of firmness).

But mattresses are also subjective. The firmness and comfort of a mattress is determined by a wide range of factors, including your weight and height, your body shape and sleeping style, temperature and whether you are experiencing any discomfort, like hips or back. So, one individual’s experience on the mattress could be different from the experience of someone else; and whether you prefer a softer or firmer mattress will come dependent on your personal preference.

(That’s why we use various people to evaluate our mattresses – and also the reason we read hundreds of reviews from our customers. Remember this when noting our ‘firmness gauge’, that ranges from 1 to 10 with 10, which is the firmest – you may find a mattress to be slightly firmer or softer than we’ve seen it.) But, there’s general advice to consider what degree of mattress firmness might be best-suited to…

1. Consider your preferred sleeping position Back sleepers often require a moderately firm mattress. This gives the best of both and provides a neutral spine alignment while supporting shoulders and hips, but without putting too much pressure on the shoulder and hips. If your mattress has too much softness, those who sleep on their backs might find their spines forming an uncomfortable ‘U’ shape that causes strain. If the mattress is too firm the natural curve of ‘S’ of your spine may not be supported properly.

Side sleepers need good pressure relief on their hips and shoulders, and for their body contours to be properly supported. A mattress that’s medium to moderately soft is usually a good choice. If it’s too firm, though, the spine won’t align correctly with hips and shoulders. Memory foam is often the most suitable mattress option for those who sleep on their sides because of its superior contouring properties.

Front sleepers tend to fare better with a firmer mattress. This can help lift the hips so that they’re in alignment with the spine. It also prevents the spine from forming the shape of a U. If it’s too firm it can be uncomfortable especially for women. It can hinder the spine from being able to curve naturally. Too soft and it can feel almost suffocating. In the case of hybrid mattresses, they can be better as opposed to foam mattresses for people who sleep in the front.

Sleepers who are a combination should select according to their dominant sleep position (the place you usually sleep in). If you don’t already have one, a mattress that is medium firm will dish out the best comfort and support in all sleeping positions.

2. Take into consideration your body weight. Lighter sleepers who weigh below 130lbs don’t sink as far into the mattress, and could be well-suited to softer options because of this – between 2 to 4 on the firmness scale. But a mattress that is medium-firm could also be a great option.

The 130-230 pound range of people are typically better suited to medium or medium-firm mattresses. They range from 5-7 on the firmness scale.

Heavier sleepers who weigh above the 230lbs mark can benefit from mattress that are firmer, with an 8-10 rating. This will keeps them from sinking down through the various comfort levels.

3. Take advantage of the risk-free trial to sleep. It could take as long as three weeks for your body to adapt to the new mattress. That’s especially true if your old mattress wasn’t supporting you well, so don’t believe that if you initially get sore when you wake up, that it’s due to a mattress change. is wrong or it’s your body getting used to greater support. The majority of mattress tests require that you stay for a minimum of 21 days for this reason.

In addition to how the mattress is feeling, here’s a quick method to check whether it’s the right level of firmness for you. Relax and place your hand in the small of your back: if there’s a big gap, it’s too firm; if there’s no gap, then the mattress is too soft.

What is the time it will take to break in a new mattress?

This is contingent on the kind of mattress you’re buying and the firmness of it, but generally speaking it can take between 30 days and three months to adjust to the new levels of support and ease. That’s why some mattress makers will require that you sleep on the mattress for at minimum 30 nights before they’ll make arrangements for a return in the event that you aren’t happy with it.

If you’re selecting a different mattress than your previous one, for example, you used to sleep on a mattress made of foam but now you’re looking to purchase a hybrid mattress – you’ll notice the difference for a time. To help you break in the new bed, make sure you allow it the time it needs to fully decompress. If you do this, the mattress will be able to offer you its maximum comfort and support right from the very beginning. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 72 hours for this process to take place, so be patient.

Relax on different parts of your new mattress (so don’t just sit in the same spot) and continue to sleep on it to help it “bed in” faster. Try to resist sleeping in another bed (if you already have the option)) or on your sofa, because the quicker you get used to your new mattress, the faster you’ll be enjoying every single moment of sleeping in it.

What’s the best mattress in 2021?

We believe that it’s the Nectar Memory Foam is the top mattress to buy since it is a great value for money. It’s comfortable and supportive and priced extremely competitively. The typical price for a queen-sized bed is $799, which is a reduction from $1,198 – and all sizes are available for sale at Nectar with a per-permanent $400 discount plus $399-worth of free accessories. This is a remarkable value for the price. But, the Nectar Memory Foam also comes with a trial period of 365 days and a lifelong warranty, and the returns policy is straightforward and fair.

In addition, if you have an extra amount to spend, or prefer a mattress with a little more bounce, we recommend the luxury internalspring hybrid Saatva Classic mattress. It’s about $1,300 for a queen – there’s usually a $200 discount to be found – and if you’re looking for a luxurious hotel luxury then this is the best mattress. It’s also approved from the American Chiropractic Association, making it a good option for those suffering from back pain.

Another benefit of buying from Saatva is the brand’s free White Glove Delivery service. In this case, Saatva’s experts will put the new mattress in the preferred bedroom and then take away the old mattress if you plan it ahead of time.

So if you want the most value for your money, you should go with the Nectar. If you’re looking for a luxurious, luxury snooze and have more to spend, then give the Saatva a whirl. Helix Mattress Try In Store

Helix Mattress Firmness and Feel

You might have noticed that stiffness was already mentioned throughout this article. This is because one of the most important factors to take into consideration when buying for a new mattress is the firmness (and how firmness affects the comfort). These factors will tell you the mattress’s suitability for your chosen sleep position (s). Let’s have a look at the quality and firmness that comes with the Helix mattress range.

What Is the Firmness of Helix Mattresses?

The Helix mattresses are available in a range of different hardness options, with the softest being moderately soft and the most firm being quite firm. Helix Sunset Helix Sunset is on the lower end of the scale and we have given it a rating that was 5.5 out of 10 in the firmness scale. (A 6.5/10 is the standard industry norm for moderate firmness.) Helix Dusk is next. Helix Midnight is next, and we gave it a score of 6/10 that means it’s softer than normal. The Helix Midnight as well as the Helix Dusk fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Both of these mattresses received a rating of around 7/10, which is slightly more firm than the average. The Helix Twilight as well as the Helix Dawn are at the firmer side of the spectrum, with both getting an 7.5/10 rating (firmer than the average).

It’s important to be aware that the degree of firmness is a individual preference. When it comes to the firmness of the mattress, you can evaluate these mattresses in different ways based on your body weight and personal preferences. Heavier persons, for example, may find these mattresses more firm as they can push further into the mattress to reach into the support layers. Meanwhile, lighter people may find that these mattresses are more supple due to their position on the comfort level of every bed(s).

Sleeping on the Helix Mattresses

We slept on Helix beds for an lengthy time to get an accurate picture of the experience it’s like to lie on the models in different positions. Have a look at what we found!

Helix Sunset Mattress

Helix Mattress Try In StoreBecause of its softness, because of its softness, Helix Sunset didn’t feel nearly supportive enough for back sleeping. Our hips sank a little too far in the bed, causing the spine to become misaligned.

The Helix Sunset’s softness isn’t ideal for those who sleep on their backs It’s perfect for side sleepers. We were very comfortable in this position because the mattress’s softness cushioned any pressure areas around the shoulder and hip. In fact, it’s one of the most comfortable mattresses for hip discomfort that we’ve come across.

It is apparent that the Helix Sunset is not supportive enough for stomach sleeping because to its softness. Our hips sank too deeply into the mattress which pulled our spinal column out of its alignment, just as they did when we were asleep back.

Helix Moonlight Mattress

helix-moonlightAs a back sleeper while sleeping, the Helix Moonlight was adequate but not extraordinary. If you’re planning to sleep in this position for the duration of the night, you’ll almost certainly want a firmer mattress that provides additional support and helps maintain the proper alignment of your spine.

It is the Helix Moonlight is an excellent choice for side sleeping due to its softness. There was no unwelcome pressure around the hips or shoulders.

It is the Helix Moonlight, like the Helix Sunset, is not supportive enough for stomach sleeping. Our hips sank too deeply to the bed, leading the spine to misalign.

Helix Midnight Mattress

Helix Midnight Luxe FeatureWhen we lay down on the Helix Midnight and feeling fantastic, we were able to feel great. We experienced a bit of pressure relief, but without losing spinal alignment thanks to the mattress’s good balance of support and comfort. It’s the most comfortable mattress for back sleepers that we have reviewed on this list.

Even though the Helix Midnight is firmer in comparison to Helix Sunset and Moonlight, it is still a good mattress. Helix Sunset and Moonlight, we discovered it to be comfortable to sleep on our backs on this mattress. It is a good pressure-relief mattress around the shoulder and hip according to our experience.

As we lay on our stomachs in the Helix Midnight, we were well, but not super. Sleepers who are in this way throughout the night should consider mattresses that are firmer and provide greater spinal support.

Helix Dusk Mattress

helix-duskIt’s the Helix Dusk is more supportive than other models we’ve tried, which could explain why we felt so at ease while sleeping in our backs. We’re certain that we’ll enjoy an ideal spinal alignment throughout the night due to the mattress’s suppleness.

It’s likely not a surprise to find that Helix Dusk feels a little too firm for a side sleeper considering that we’ve moved to the firmer end on the scale. There was some discomfort around the shoulder and hip that could cause significant discomfort if you slept in this position all night.

The Helix Dusk should suit stomach sleepers of average weight since it can help to maintain a healthy spine alignment. However, stomach sleepers who are heavier might not get enough support here.

Helix Twilight Mattress

helix-twilightThe Helix Twilight was proved to be the ideal bed for back pain. It’s the ideal mattress for back sleepers who require more support due to increased weight, back pain, or other factors. The firmer construction of this mattress assists in keeping the hips lifted and in alignment with the spine.

Since the Helix Twilight is slightly firmer than other mattresses We found it hard to sleep on our sides on the mattress. We felt suffocated in the hips and shoulders.

The majority of stomach sleepers will find the Helix Twilight mattress to be an ideal choice, as the mattress’s hardness will offer enough support to the spine in this position.

Helix Dawn Mattress

helix-dawnBack sleepers who like an extra firm mattress will love the high degree of support. However, those who like an occasional relief from pressure when resting on their backs could find this mattress too firm.

It’s the Helix Dawn is far too hard for side sleeping and you’ll end up with a lot of pressure points on your hips and shoulders. The Helix Dawn that is soft is much better for sleepers who prefer side sleeping.

It is the Helix Dawn mattress is considered to be the most comfortable mattresses for stomach-sleepers, in our opinions. In the evening this supportive and firm mattress helps keep the hips elevated and aligned to the spinal column.

What Do the Helix Mattresses Feel Like?

Helix mattresses have a hybrid composition with foam layered over coils. Despite these similarities, each Helix mattress has its own distinct personality.

The Helix Sunset offers a soft top and a balanced foam feel. The comfort layer’s plushness encourages sleepers to sink in and creates an elongated feel.

It is worth noting that the Helix Moonlight, despite its softness, offers a lively sensation, particularly when compared with the Sunset, which is less sensitive.

The Helix Midnight, like the Helix Sunset, offers a balanced feel and a slow-moving top layer. The Midnight is a bit more firm than the Sunset and allows sleepers to sink more deeply in the upper layer.

The Helix Dusk is solid and bouncy. This is due to the use of active foam in the top layer and coils in the layer supporting it.

The Helix Twilight, like the Helix Sunset and Midnight, is characterized by a slower-moving top. This is still a firm mattress, even though the comfort layer is slightly more comfortable.

The Helix Dawn, like the Helix Dusk, has a soft, firm and bouncy feel it because to the use of foam that is dynamic (in the layer of comfort) along with coils (in the support layer).

Average Weight Sleepers – 130 lbs – 230 lbs

It is the Helix Midnight (which combines spinal support with pressure reduction) and Helix Dusk (which combines pressure reduction and spinal support) or Helix Dusk are likely to be the preferred choice for back sleepers (which offers firmer spinal support).

Sleeping on the Helix Midnight (if your preference is a slightly harder sensation) or the more comfortable and more pressure-relieving Helix Moonlight (or Sunset) is most probable for side sleepers of average weight.

Finally, stomach sleepers with a moderate weight should choose the supporting Helix Twilight or Dawn.

Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs

The Helix Dusk should provide appropriate support for back sleepers who weigh a lot, as it relieves tension while ensuring spinal alignment.

The most comfortable models within the Helix range, such as the Helix Moonlight or Helix Sunset, should provide sufficient of pressure relief for heavyweight side sleepers.

For stomach sleepers with heavy weights however are likely to move towards Helix Dawn. Helix Dawn (the firmest mattress in the collection) for proper spinal support.

Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs

There should be a variety of types available for lightweight back sleepers: The Helix Moonlight, Midnight, and Dusk all have lots of spinal support as well as different degrees of pressure relief that can accommodate different sleeping styles.

Similar to the side sleepers that are lightweight, you can pick from the Helix Midnight, Moonlight, or Sunset and should provide adequate pressure relief while allowing users to customize the hardness level to their needs.

Finally, stomach sleepers will find Helix Twilight or Dawn to be the most supportive. Helix Twilight and Dawn to be the most supportive.

Helix Mattresses Construction

As far as construction is concerned, each of Helix mattresses are constructed in the same way. Helix mattresses are constructed in the same way: They have the same cover and the foam comfort layers are laid over individual wrapped coil support layers.

Every Helix mattresses, in particular they have the SoftTouch Design cover that is elastic, soft, and air-tight. The design lets air flow freely across the top of the mattress. Additionally, every Helix model has an additional layer of support made of individually wrapped coils that are stacked on top of a base foam with a high density which provides the mattress with it’s overall design and stability.

The similarities stop there for the most part. The comfort layers of these mattresses differ in their size, stiffness, layout and kinds of foam. Additional materials are also offered on certain versions. Let’s have a take a closer look!.

Helix Sunset

The comfort layer of the Helix Sunset is comprised of pressure-reducing Memory Plus Foam, which offers the slower-moving feel of memory foam that it is known for. A transition layer composed of Helix Dynamic foam, a latex-foam replacement that’s larger, more bouncier, and more supporting, sits beneath that Memory Plus Foam.

Helix Moonlight

While the Helix Sunset’s comfort layer is comprised of Memory Plus Foam, the Helix Midnight’s primary comfort layer and the transition layer are made of Helix Dynamic Foam. This is another latex-foam option with multiple layers of this foam give it a bouncy feel when compared to that of the Helix Sunset.

Helix Midnight

Memory Plus Foam is the main comfort layer in the Helix Midnight, and it provides pressure reduction and body shaping. A transition layer of dense, high-grade polyfoam sits underneath the Memory Plus Foam. This layer is quite responsive, which means that the mattress as a whole responds to pressure more quickly.

Helix Dusk

The Helix Dusk’s primary comfort layer is made out of Helix Dynamic Foam, a latex-foam substitute that’s bouncy and receptive. It’s a layer composed of Memory Plus Foam sits beneath this layer. (Think of Dusk’s construction as similar to that of Helix Sunset’s construction. Helix Sunset, but reversed.) Helix Dynamic Foam can be layered on top of Memory Plus Foam to create a bouncy smooth surface. Memory Plus Foam helps relieve pressure as sleepers sink deeper into the mattress.

Helix Twilight

It’s the Helix Twilight, like the Helix Midnight, has a slow-moving Memory Plus Foam layer above the dense, high-quality polyfoam layer that acts as a transition. Its Memory Plus Foam adds some convenience, but don’t get fooled: this is an extremely firm mattress that has very little give.

Helix Dawn

Then, last but not least, the Helix Dawn comes with a Helix Dynamic Foam comfort layer that is layered over a high-quality, dense polyfoam layer transition layer. This combination produces a soft, bouncy and responsive sleep surface with very little give.

Helix Mattresses Performance

We tested the Helix mattresses through a set of tests to see the performance of these mattresses in key areas like temperature regulation, edge support, motion transfer and more. Keep reading to find out how they fared!

Sleeping Hot or Cold

Sleeping Hot or Cold If you’re still concerned about your mattress being too hot, you might want to consider buying a LUXE version of your mattress.

Motion Transfer

As we have seen in our tests certain models are better than other models when it comes to minimising disturbances to the surface of the mattress. The Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight provided the best motion-seclusion. This is due to the slower-moving memory foam near the top of each of these models, which do well at blocking motion. These are among the best mattresses for couples available on the market.

Edge Support

Every Helix mattress offered good edge support throughout the range. While sitting and sleeping at the edge of each model, we felt comfortable and safe.

Durability

All of the Helix mattresses are manufactured with strong coils and high-density foams which ensure that they can last for a long period of time.

Off-Gassing

We did notice some off-gassing from the six Helix mattresses in the beginning. It will disappear within a couple of days if not sooner.

Noise

There was no noticeable noise while moving about on the mattresses during the time we wrote our review. However, because each mattress has coils, it’s probable that they’ll start to sound squeaky over time.

Sex

If you are looking for a sexual mattress, most people are concerned about how easy it will be to shift places on their mattress. Since all Helix mattresses feature coils, they should be sufficient to allow you to move around easily on each. The models with memory foam in the upper layer (particularly, Helix Sunset, Midnight and Twilight) Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight) could make changing positions a little harder due to their slower motion.

Information on the Warranty

A 100-night sleep trial and 10 years of mattress warranty come with every Helix mattress.
