We’ll also provide our top tips and tricks for choosing the best mattress for your budget, and review the top-rated mattresses currently available. Helix Mattress Tracking

Which is the best mattress?

The quick answer is that there isn’t a single best type of mattress. Why? Because everyone is different, so the right type that is right for you will depend on your body type, health and your sleep style. It’s also because the differences between each type of mattress are becoming less noticeable. The technology has advanced so dramatically in the past five years that it’s difficult to notice any perceptible differences when you sleep on mattresses.

That’s good news for you that you’ll be able to choose one of the mattresses in our top mattress guide and be extremely happy with your choice – no matter if it’s made from copper-infused memory foam, coils, cooling latex, or a cutting-edge combination of all-natural substances.

However, it can be helpful to know the different types of mattresses before you make your final choice. With that in mind here we walk you though the most popular options, while highlighting the key differences between each… Helix Mattress Tracking

Mattresses made of memory foam

It is the Nectar Memory Foam mattress has three-inches of gel memory foam. Memory foam is a fantastic choice for those who want to feel “hugged” in their mattresses. The material conforms to your body and provides better pressure relief than springs, and is excellent in taking in the motion. That last benefit alone makes it an ideal option for people who share a bed with a restless companion (but not the best option if you prefer some bounce in your mattress ; you’ll need an innerspring or hybrid instead).

One of the main advantages that memory foam has is that you can sink into it, which is why it provides higher than average cushioning. As with any all-foam mattress this kind of material may be warmer in the night than other types of mattresses. However, the top memory foam mattresses today are packed with special cooling materials that are designed to regulate your temperature while you sleep. Helix Mattress Tracking

Innerspring mattresses

Saatva’s flagship innerspring mattress, the Saatva Classic, is available in three different levels of firmness. (Image image credit: Saatva) Innerspring mattress make use of a coil-based support mechanism that provides comfort and structure. The amount, height, and shape of the coils can vary and whereas traditionally, innerspring mattresses were made using interconnected coils, the term is now used to refer to pocket spring mattresses.

They have individually wrapped coils that sit in their own pockets and move in a way that is independent – offering more pressure relief, better comfort and more effective motion isolation. The more pocket springs in a mattress the better the support. You can also make use of one of the top mattress toppers to immediately add an extra layer of support and ease.

The main difference between all-foam mattresses and innerspring choices is that they’re buoyant. you sleep over them rather than sinking down into them. This is a good thing for hot sleepers, as it means that your body heat is less likely to be trapped within the mattress. In addition, springs permit the air more to move than dense foam. They also offer more bounce than all-foam options, and can be cheaper. Helix Mattress Tracking

Hybrid mattresses

Hybrids, such as Dreamcloud bring you the ideal of both worlds. you benefit from the tailored comfort of memory foam latex or gel as well as the subtle bounce and increased airflow that springs provide. The coils of hybrid mattresses tend to be smaller though, and you’ll typically (but never always) have a thinner the memory foam.

A lot of the top mattresses are hybrid models. They’re a versatile option that can be a great choice for couples with differing preference for sleeping, and are an excellent choice for hot sleepers who love the soft feel of foam. Helix Mattress Tracking

Latex mattresses

Plushbeds is made from GOLS organically certified latex that comes from co-owned farmers of the company’s collectives. Latex mattresses make use of super robust latex foam that is made of natural materials, not synthetic substances (which the memory foam mattresses made from). If you are looking for an organic, durable mattress, then latex is the best mattress material.

It isn’t as dense like memory foam which makes latex mattresses less susceptible to overheating. Latex is also a great choice for contouring and bounce. In addition the exceptional endurance makes it a great option for those who want their mattress to really last however, it’s not cheap! Helix Mattress Tracking

What is the correct mattress size?

The most important thing to consider when choosing the right size of mattress is to make sure it’s at least 10cm higher than the tallest person sleeping on it. In terms of width, if you share an area of a bed, both you and your companion should be able to put your hands on your head, without elbows touching. If you sleep alone then you’ll have the proper size mattress if you are able to put your hands under your head and not touch the sides of the mattress. So measure that distance and as long as you choose one that is wider than this, you’ll be fine.

The majority of the mattresses listed in our best mattress reviews are in twin twin XL, full, queen, king, and California king sizes. Some come in split options too, which enable you to select the mattress that is firmer to your partner. There are also mattresses that offer different levels of firmness for each side (soft on one side, hard to the opposite).

In general, the larger and deeper the mattress, the more expensive. The majority of twin mattresses are a few hundred dollars less that the size of a queen, while the king and California king sizes average about $200 more than queen size. Hybrid mattresses, luxury , and premier versions generally are more expensive than the original or basic mattresses which are listed.

How do I know the right mattress firmness?

Medium firm is the most sought-after mattress and that’s the reason why most top mattresses fall in the range of 7 to 10 on the scale of firmness (10 is the firmness).

However, mattresses are subjective. Comfort and firmness are based on numerous factors, including your weight of your body, your height, body shape, sleeping style, temperature, and whether you experience any discomfort, for example, hips or back. That means that a individual’s experience on an mattress will be completely different to that of someone else; and the choice of a soft or more firm mattress is up to you and your preferences.

(That’s the reason we have various people to evaluate our mattresses – and it’s also why we look through thousands of user reviews. Remember this when you’re evaluating our ‘firmness gauge’, which is a range of 1 to 10 10, with 10 being the firmest . You might discover a mattress that is slightly softer or firmer than we’ve found it.) However, there’s general advice to consider the level of mattress firmness you may be most at ease with…

1. Consider your preferred sleeping position Back sleepers often require a moderately firm mattress. This provides the best of both, providing neutral spine alignment while supporting the hips and shoulders and shoulders, but not putting too many pressures on the shoulder and hips. If a mattress has too much softness, those who sleep on their backs may find their spine forming an uncomfortable U-shape that causes strain. If the mattress is too firm, the natural ‘S’ curve of your spine may not be supported properly.

Side sleepers need good pressure relief on their hips and shoulders, and for their body contours to be supported. A medium to medium-soft mattress is usually the best choice. If it’s too soft, though, the spine won’t align properly with the hips and shoulders. Memory foam is typically the ideal mattress for side sleepers due to its above-average contouring properties.

The people who sleep in the front do better with a firmer mattress. This helps lift the hips so that they’re in alignment with the spine and stops the spine from developing an ‘U. If it’s too firm it will be uncomfortable – especially for women. It can hinder the spine from being able to naturally curve. If it’s too soft, you’ll feel almost suffocating. Hybrid and innerspring mattresses may be a better choice as opposed to foam mattresses for people who sleep in the front.

Combination sleepers should choose the one that best suits their sleeping position (the position that you typically sleep in). If you don’t have one a medium firm mattress provides the greatest comfort and support across all sleeping positions.

2. Consider your body weight lighter sleepers that weigh less than 130lbs won’t sink as deep into the mattress, and could be a good fit for softer mattresses as a result – between 2 to 4 on the scale of firmness. However, a medium-firm mattress would also be a good choice.

The 130-230 pound range of people are generally better suited to medium and medium-firm mattresses, between 7 and 7 on the firmness scale.

Sleepers with a heavier weight of over 300lbs are ideally suited to more firm mattresses, with an 8-10 rating, which stops them from sinking into the various comfort levels.

3. Use the risk-free sleep trial It can take up to 3 weeks to allow your body to adjust to a new mattress. This is especially true if your old mattress wasn’t supporting you properly, so don’t assume that if you initially feel sore, the reason is wrong – it could be your body getting used to better support. The majority of mattress tests require a minimum of 21 days for this reason.

In addition to how the mattresses feels like, there’s a quick trick you can use to check whether it’s the right firmness for your needs. Lie down and place your hand on the back. of your back: if there’s a big gap, it’s not firm enough; if there’s no gap, the mattress is too soft.

How long does it take to get a mattress that is brand new?

This is contingent on the kind of mattress you’re buying and its firmness level however, generally speaking, it can take anywhere between 30 days and three months to get used to the new levels of support and comfort. This is why some mattress manufacturers ask you to sleep on the mattress for at minimum 30 nights before they’ll arrange a collection in case you don’t love the mattress.

If you’re choosing a very different mattress than your previous one, as an example, perhaps you used to sleep on an all-foam model but now you’re looking to purchase the hybrid mattress – you will notice the difference in a short while longer. In order to help you get comfortable with your mattress ensure that you give it the time needed to completely disintegrate. If you do this, the mattress will give the maximum amount of comfort and support right from the start. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 72 hours for this process to take place, so be patient.

You can relax on various parts of your new mattress (so don’t sit in the same spot) and keep sleeping on it to help it “bed in” faster. Make sure you don’t sleep in a different bed (if you already have one) or on the sofa, since the quicker you get used to your new mattress, the faster you’ll be enjoying every minute of your time in it.

What’s the best mattress for 2021?

We are still of the opinion that it’s the Nectar Memory Foam is the best mattress you can buy since it is a great value in terms of price. It’s comfortable and supportive and priced extremely competitively. The queen size typically costs $799, which is a reduction from $1,198 – and all sizes are offered for sale at Nectar with a recurring $400 discount plus $399-worth of accessories for free. It’s an incredible deal in and of itself. However Nectar Memory Foam is also an excellent choice for a long time. Nectar Memory Foam also comes with a 365-night trial and a forever warranty. Also, the return policy is clear and fair.

If you’ve got some extra money, or prefer a mattress with a little more bounce, we’d recommend the luxury in-between innerspring Saatva Classic mattress. It costs around $1,300 for a queen bed – although it’s typically a $200 discount to be found If you’re looking to get the best hotel luxury it’s the mattress for you. It’s also endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association, making it a great option if you suffer from back pain.

Another benefit of buying from Saatva is the company’s free White Glove Delivery service. As part of this Saatva’s expert team, their experts will set the new mattress in your room of your choice, and remove the old mattress if you plan it ahead of time.

So , if you’re looking to get the most value for your price, go for the Nectar. If you want hotel-luxury snoozing and have money to spend, give the Saatva an opportunity. Helix Mattress Tracking

The most precious benefit of Helix mattress is the fact that one can in fact get rid of all the sleeping problems that a person has actually been coping with throughout the years. Helix Mattress Vs Competitors

As you explore Helix evaluations, a few truths will emerge in no time. Helix bed mattress is pricier than most other bed mattress. This is reasonable offered it is customized. Many other brands don’t make tailored bed mattress. The service warranty and lifespan or resilience of Helix mattress could be better. At the end of the day, the style and engineering of the mattress will be according to exactly what you express so your choices are the secret.

It is challenging to compare Helix bed mattress with its rivals such as Casper, Leesa or Purple since they are basic and Helix is a customized mattress. Helix is thinner than many mattresses at ten inches. That is a basic feature. It will have four layers, which is more or less what most other brand names select. Rather of memory foam, Helix bed mattress has micro-coils. There are 2 more layers of poly foam and base foam respectively. The topmost layer is vibrant foam. The leading layer is two inches, so is the 3rd layer which is of poly foam. Base foam is 4 inches and the second layer from top is a little more than two inches.

The most noteworthy highlight of Helix Vs Casper is the rate. Every size has a cost difference of $50 to $100. Examining Helix Vs Leesa will lead you to infer that the latter deals much better quality sleep but it is less durable than the previous. Helix Vs Purple will draw you to the upper cover of the latter that is far more comfy but the previous has the power of customization. Personalization will always weigh heavy in favor of Helix bed mattress reviews.

Helix Mattress Vs Nectar Mattress

Nectar mattress is gentle yet firm, it has a mixed cover of cotton and tencel, the density is eleven inches and it weighs anywhere from 45 lbs to 89 lbs depending upon the size. Nectar utilizes a layer of 1 inch gel memory foam, the second layer is 3 inch memory foam, the third layer is 1.75 inch memory foam and then a 5.25 inches support foam layer at the base. The smallest size of Nectar bed mattress costs $500 and California King costs $900. There is free shipping and an entire year or 365 nights of trial. There is lifetime service warranty and you can easily conserve more than $100 on every size. That is not the type of saving you can get with Helix mattress voucher. Helix Mattress Firmness and Feel

You might have noticed that stiffness has already been mentioned in this roundup. It’s because one of most important factors to take into consideration when buying for a new mattress is the firmness (and how it affects comfort). These aspects will reveal the mattress’s suitability for your chosen sleep location (s). Let’s take a closer review of the firmness and feel that comes with the Helix mattress series.

What Is the Firmness of Helix Mattresses?

The Helix mattresses are available in a wide range of options, with the most soft being moderately soft, and the most firm being quite firm. Helix Sunset Helix Sunset is on the soft side of the spectrum; we gave it a hardness rating that was 5.5 /10 on the scale of firmness. (A 6.5/10 is the industry standard for medium firmness.) Its Helix Midnight is next, and we gave it a score of 6/10 that means it’s softer than normal. Helix Dusk and the Helix Midnight as well as the Helix Dusk are in the middle of the spectrum. Both of these mattresses scored approximately a 7/10, which is a bit heavier than average. The Helix Twilight and Helix Dawn are at the firmer side of the spectrum with each receiving an 7.5/10 assessment (firmer than average).

It is important to keep in mind that the level of hardness is a matter of individual preference. If you’re looking for the firmness of the mattress, you can assess these mattresses differently based on your body weight and personal preferences. For instance, heavier people might find them firmer since they can press further into the mattress to get to the support layers. Meanwhile, lighter people may be surprised to find these mattresses less firm due to the fact that they are located higher within the comfortable layer every bed(s).

Sleeping on the Helix Mattresses

We slept on Helix mattress for a long period in order to get an accurate picture of what it’s like to lie on the models in various positions. Check out the results!

Helix Sunset Mattress

Helix Mattress TrackingDue to its softness because of its softness, Helix Sunset was not sufficient for back sleepers. Our hips were a bit too deep into the mattress, which caused the spine to be misaligned.

Although the Helix Sunset’s gentleness isn’t the best for back sleepers but it’s great for those who sleep on their sides. We were very at ease in this position due to the mattress’s softness helped cushion any pressure areas around the shoulder and hip. It’s actually one of the most comfortable mattresses for hip discomfort we’ve seen.

The Helix Sunset is not supportive enough for stomach sleeping because of its softness. Our hips fell too far into the mattress which pulled our back out of position, just as they did when we were sleeping back to back.

Helix Moonlight Mattress

helix-moonlightWhen reclining in a back position, back sleeping, the Helix Moonlight was adequate but not exceptional. If you plan on sleeping in this position all night, you’ll almost certainly need a more firm mattress with additional support and helps maintain the proper alignment of your spine.

The Helix Moonlight is an excellent option for sleeping sideways due to its softness. We didn’t feel any uncomfortable pressure on the hips or shoulders.

The Helix Moonlight, like the Helix Sunset, is not supportive enough for stomach sleeping. Our hips were pushed too far in the mattress causing the spine to misalign.

Helix Midnight Mattress

Helix Midnight Luxe FeatureAs we slept on the Helix Midnight, we felt fantastic. We enjoyed a touch of pressure relief, but without losing spine alignment due to the mattress’s good combination of support and comfort. It is the greatest mattress for back sleepers on this list.

Although the Helix Midnight is firmer than it’s counterparts, the Helix Sunset or Moonlight We were able to rest comfortably on our backs on this mattress. It offers adequate pressure relief on the hip and shoulder in our opinion.

When we slept with our stomachs on the Helix Midnight, we felt good but not great. If you sleep in this position throughout the night should consider an extra firm mattress that offers more spinal support.

Helix Dusk Mattress

helix-duskIt’s the Helix Dusk is more supportive than other models we’ve tested, which may be the reason we felt so comfortable while lying on our backs. We’re sure that we’ll be able to maintain proper spinal alignment all night because of the mattress’s supportive nature.

It’s not surprising to find that Helix Dusk feels a little too soft for sleeping on your side since we’ve shifted to the firmer end in the range. There was some discomfort around the hip and shoulder area that would create a lot of discomfort if you sleep in this position for the entire night.

The Helix Dusk should suit stomach sleepers of average weight since it can help to maintain a healthy spine alignment. However, heavier stomach sleepers may not find enough support here.

Helix Twilight Mattress

helix-twilightThe Helix Twilight was proved to be the best mattress for back discomfort. It’s ideal for back sleepers who require extra support due to weight gain back pain, other factors. The more firm construction of this mattress assists in keeping the hips lifted and in alignment to the spinal column.

Because this mattress Helix Twilight is slightly firmer than other mattresses We found it hard to lay on our backs on the mattress. We felt like we were suffocated on the hips and shoulders.

Most stomach sleepers should find the Helix Twilight to be a great choice, as the mattress’ hardness should provide enough of spinal support in this position.

Helix Dawn Mattress

helix-dawnBack sleepers who like an extra firm mattress will love the Helix Dawn’s high level of support. However, those who like some pressure relief when resting on their backs may likely find this mattress to be excessively firm.

The Helix Dawn is far too hard to be used for sleeping on your side, and you’ll end up having a lot of pressure points on your shoulder and hip. A softer model will be much more suitable for side sleepers.

The Helix Dawn mattress is considered to be the most comfortable mattress for stomach sleepers, in our opinions. Throughout the night, this firm and supportive mattress will keep your hips up and in alignment to the spinal column.

What Do the Helix Mattresses Feel Like?

Helix mattresses all have a hybrid structure that has foam layers over coils. Despite these commonalities however, each model has its own distinct individuality.

The Helix Sunset offers a soft top and a balanced foam feel. The soft comfort layer allows sleepers to feel comfortable and gives the mattress the feeling of a slow-moving.

It is worth noting that the Helix Moonlight, despite its softness, gives a bouncy feeling, particularly when compared to the Sunset, which is less sensitive.

The Helix Midnight is, just like Helix Sunset, like Helix Sunset, has a balanced feel and a smooth top layer that moves slowly. The Midnight is a bit more firm than the Sunset, allowing sleepers to sink deeper into the top layer.

The Helix Dusk is solid and lively. This is because of the use of active foam on the upper layer and coils in the support layer.

The Helix Twilight, like the Helix Sunset and Midnight, has a more sluggish top. This is still a firm mattress despite the comfort layer being a little more enveloping.

Helix Dawn, like the Helix Dawn, like the Helix Dusk, has a bouncy, firm feel to it because of the use of dynamic foam (in the comfort layer) and coils (in the support layer).

Average Weight Sleepers – 130 lbs – 230 lbs

It is the Helix Midnight (which combines spinal support with pressure reduction) or the Helix Dusk are likely to be preferred by back sleepers (which gives a firmer spinal support).

The Helix Late at Night (if your preference is a slightly harder sensation) or the softer and more pressure-reducing Helix Moonlight or Sunset is the most likely option for average-weight side sleepers.

The stomach sleepers who are of moderate weight should consider the supportive Helix Twilight or Dawn.

Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs

It is recommended that the Helix Dusk should provide appropriate support for heavyweight back sleepers because it eases pressure and maintains spinal alignment.

The softest models in the Helix range, such as the Helix Moonlight or Helix Sunset, should provide sufficient of pressure relief for heavier side sleepers.

The stomach sleepers who are heavy On the other hand tend to go toward the Helix Dawn (the firmest mattress of the range) for proper spinal support.

Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs

There should be a variety of types available for lightweight back sleepers. For instance, the Helix Moonlight, Midnight, and Dusk all provide plenty of spinal support and different levels of pressure relief to accommodate different styles of sleeping.

In the same way, side sleepers who are light can select from Helix Midnight, Moonlight, or Sunset, which should all offer adequate pressure relief, while allowing users to customize the level of hardness to suit their requirements.

Finally, stomach sleepers will find the Helix Twilight and Dawn to be the most supportive.

Additionally, every Helix model has an extra layer of support that is made of individually wrapped coils stacked on top of a base foam with a high density that gives the mattress its overall structure and strength.

Helix Mattresses Performance

We put Helix mattresses through a series of tests. Helix mattress through a set of tests to see the performance of these mattresses in key areas like the regulation of temperature and motion transfer, edge support, and other areas. Keep reading to find out the results!

Sleeping Hot or Cold

Sleeping Hot or Cold If you’re worried about overheating, consider purchasing a LUXE version of your mattress.

Motion Transfer

According to our tests that some mattresses outperform others when it comes to keeping out any disturbances that might occur on your mattress’s top. For instance, the Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight have the highest level of motion-seclusion. That’s because they have a memory foam that is slower moving at the top of all of these models, which do great job at absorption of motion. These are the best mattresses for couples on the market.

Edge Support

Every Helix mattress had excellent edge support across all models. When we sat and slept on the edges of each model, we felt comfortable and safe.

Durability

All of the Helix mattresses are made from high-density foams and robust coils to ensure they’ll last for a long period of time.

Off-Gassing

We noticed some off-gassing from all six Helix mattresses initially. It will disappear within a couple of days or perhaps sooner.

Noise

We didn’t hear any distinct noise while moving about on any of these mattresses during the time we wrote our review. Since all of these mattresses have coils, it’s probable that they’ll begin to squeak over time.

Sex

If you are looking for a sexual mattress, most individuals are concerned about how easy it will be to move positions on the bed. Because all of the Helix mattresses feature coils, they must be responsive enough to let you move around easily on all of them. The models that feature memory foam on the top layer (particularly Helix Sunset, Midnight and Twilight) Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight) could make changing your position a bit more difficult due to their slow movement.

Information on the Warranty

A 100-night trial period of sleep as well as a 10-year mattress guarantee are included in each Helix mattress.
