Which is the best type of mattress?

The short answer is that there isn’t a single best type of mattress. Why? Because everybody is different The best type for you is dependent on your body, your health , and your sleeping habits. It’s also because the differences between the various types of mattress are becoming less noticeable. Materials have advanced so much over the last five years alone that it can be difficult to detect any noticeable differences when you sleep on them.

It’s a great thing that you’ll be able to choose any of the options from our top mattress guide and be satisfied with the mattress you choose no matter if it’s made of copper-infused memory foam coils, cooling latex, or a cutting-edge blend of all-natural materials.

However, it can be beneficial to understand the different types of mattresses before making your final choice. With this in mind, here’s a look at the most popular options, while highlighting the major differences between each… Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Mattresses made of memory foam

The Nectar Memory Foam mattress has three inches of memory foam. Memory foam is a fantastic choice for those who want to feel ‘hugged’ in their mattresses. The material conforms to your body, offering greater comfort than springs and is great in taking in motion. That last benefit alone makes it an ideal option for those who share the bed with an anxious companion (but it’s not the best choice if you prefer some bounce on your mattress, you’ll need an innerspring or a hybrid).

The main benefit in memory foam is that it allows you to can sink into it, which is why it provides higher than average cushioning. As with any all-foam mattress this kind of material may feel warmer at night than other mattresses. However, the top memory foam mattresses now come with cooling elements specifically designed to control your temperature while you sleep. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Innerspring mattresses

Saatva’s flagship innerspring mattress Saatva Classic, its flagship innerspring mattress Saatva Classic, is available in three different levels of firmness. (Image credit: Saatva) Innerspring mattress utilize a coil-based support system to provide comfort and structure. The quantity, height and design of the coils differ, and while traditional innerspring mattresses were constructed using interconnected coils, the term is now used to describe pocket spring mattresses.

These feature individually wrapped coils that are placed inside their own fabric pocket and move in a way that is independent – giving more pressure relief, better comfort, and better motion isolation. Generally speaking, the more pocket springs you have in your mattress, the better support. It is also possible to make use of one of the top mattress toppers to instantly add an extra layer of comfort and support.

One of the main differences between all-foam mattresses and innerspring options is that they’re buoyant. they allow you to sleep in them, rather than sinking into them. This is a good thing for hot sleepers, as it means your body heat is less likely to be trapped in the mattress, plus the springs allow the air more to move than dense foam. In addition, they have more bounce than all-foam options, and can be cheaper. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Hybrid mattresses

Hybrids such as Dreamcloud provide the ideal of both worlds. you benefit from the tailored comfort of memory foam gel or latex as well as the slight bounce and the increased airflow of springs. The coils in hybrid mattresses are typically smaller than the ones in traditional mattresses, and you’ll often (but often not) have a more slender layers of memory foam.

A lot of the top mattresses are hybrid. They’re a versatile option that makes a good choice for couples with differing preference for sleeping, and are ideal for hot sleepers who appreciate the comfort of foam. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Latex mattresses

Plushbeds is made from GOLS organically certified latex that comes from co-owned farmers of the company’s’ collectives. Latex mattresses are made of a highly robust latex foam that is made of natural materials instead of synthetic substances (which the memory foam mattresses made of). If you’re in search of an organic, ecological mattress, then latex is the best mattress material for you.

It isn’t as dense than memory foam which makes latex mattresses less prone to overheating. Latex also offers good bounce and contouring. On top of that the incredible durability makes latex a fantastic option if you’re looking to get your mattress to last for a long time and last for a long time, but it’s not cheap! How do I know the correct mattress size?

The most important thing to consider when choosing the right size of mattress is to make sure it’s at least 10cm higher than the highest person who sleeps on it. If you’re sharing a bed, you and your partner should be able to place your hands on your head without your elbows touching. If you sleep alone then you’ll have the proper size mattress if you are able to place your hands underneath your head without touching the sides of the mattress. Therefore, measure the distance and as long as you choose one that is wider than this, you’ll be fine.

Most of the mattress options in our best mattress guide are available in twin, twin XL, full queen, king and California King sizes. There are some that come with split options also, which allow you to choose a different mattress firmness to your partner. There are also mattresses that have a different degree of firmness for each side (soft for one and and firm and firm on the contrary).

The more spacious and deeper the mattress the more expensive. The majority of twin mattresses are a few hundred dollars less than queen-sized in contrast, the king size and California King sizes are typically approximately $200 more than queen size. Hybrid mattresses, luxury , and top models generally are more expensive than the basic/original mattress prices that are listed.

How do I know the right mattress firmness?

Medium firm is consistently the most sought-after mattress – that’s why most premium mattresses fall within the range of 5-7 on the firmness scale (10 is the degree of firmness).

But mattresses are also subjective. Comfort and firmness are based on many elements, including your weight, height, body shape, sleeping style, temperature and whether or not you feel discomfort, like in your back or hips. So, one person’s experience with a mattress is likely to be different from the experience of another person; and the choice of a soft or firmer mattress will be down to your individual taste.

(That’s the reason we have various people to test our mattresses – and that’s why we go through hundreds of reviews from our customers. Keep this in mind when looking at our “firmness gauge,” which ranges from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most firm. You may find a mattress to be slightly softer or firmer than we’ve seen it.) However, there’s general advice to consider the level of mattress firmness you may be most at ease with…

1. Think about your preferred sleeping position. Back sleepers usually require a moderately firm mattress. This is the optimal of both worlds, providing neutral spine alignment while helping the shoulders and hips however, without placing too many pressures on the shoulder and hips. If a mattress is too soft, those who sleep on their backs may find their spine forming an uncomfortable U-shape, which creates strain. If the mattress is too firm and firm, the natural ‘S’ curve of your spine will not be supported properly.

Side sleepers require good pressure relief for their shoulders and hips, and for their body contours to be properly supported. A mattress that is medium to medium soft is generally a good option. If it’s too soft however the spine will not be aligned properly with the shoulders and hips. Memory foam is usually the best mattress choice for those who sleep on their sides due to its superior features for contouring.

People who sleep on their sides tend to do better with a firmer mattress. This assists in lifting the hips up so that they are in alignment with the spine. It also stops the spine from developing a ‘U’ shape. If the hips are too stiff, it’ll be uncomfortable – particularly for women – and will not allow the spine to curve naturally. It’s too soft and you’ll appear to be suffocating. In the case of hybrid mattresses, they can be better over foam for those who sleep on their fronts.

Combination sleepers should choose the one that best suits their sleep position (the position you normally rest in). If you don’t have one, a mattress that is medium firm can provide the most comfort and support in all sleeping positions.

2. Consider your body weight lighter sleepers that weigh less than 130lbs won’t sink as deep into a mattress and can be a good fit for softer mattresses due to this. They’re between 2 and 4 on the scale of firmness. However, a medium-firm mattress would also be a good option.

A person who weighs between 130 and 230lbs is often better-suited to medium and medium-firm mattresses, between 7 and 7 on the firmness scale.

Heavier sleepers who weigh above 230lbs can be well-suited to mattress that are firmer, with an 8-10 rating, which stops them from sinking into the various comfort levels.

3. Take advantage of the risk-free trial to sleep. It can take up to 3 weeks to allow your body’s body to adjust to the new mattress. That’s especially true if your old mattress wasn’t supporting you properly, so don’t assume that if you first get sore when you wake up, the reason is wrong or it’s your body getting used to greater support. The majority of mattress trials require a minimum of 21 days, for this reason.

Apart from how a mattresses feels like, there’s a quick method to determine if it’s the right level of firmness for you. Lie down and place your hand on the back. of your back: if there’s a large gap, it’s too firm and if there’s not a gap, then the mattress is too soft.

How long will it take to adjust the mattress?

It’s dependent on the type of mattress you’re buying and the firmness of it, but generally speaking it could take anything between 30 days and three months to get used to the new levels of comfort and support. It’s the reason why some mattress companies will require that you sleep on the new mattress for at least 30 nights before they’ll schedule a collection in case you don’t love it.

If you’re selecting a different type of mattress to your previous one, as an example, perhaps you used to sleep on a foam mattress but now you’re looking to purchase the hybrid mattress – you’ll be able to tell the difference in a short longer. To help you break in your mattress make sure you allow it the time needed to completely decompress. If you can do this, your mattress will be able to offer you its maximum support and comfort from the beginning. It could take anything from a few hours up to 72 hours for this process to take place and so, be patient.

You can relax on various parts of your new mattress (so don’t sit in the same spot) and keep sleeping on it in order to help it “bed in” faster. Make sure you don’t sleep in a different mattress (if you have one) or on the sofa, as the faster you break in your new mattress, the faster you will be enjoying every minute of your time on it.

What is the best mattress in 2021?

We are still of the opinion that we believe that the Nectar Memory Foam is the most comfortable mattress available because it’s a fantastic value for the money. It’s incredibly comfortable and supportive, and also very competitively priced. The queen size typically costs $799, which is a reduction from $1,198 – and all sizes are offered with Nectar with a recurring price reduction of $400, plus $399 worth of free accessories. It’s an incredible deal on its own. But the Nectar Memory Foam also comes with a huge trial of 365 nights and a lifetime warranty. The return policy is fair and clear.

In addition, if you have a little more to spend or would prefer an innerspring mattress that has more bounce, we’d recommend the luxury internalspring hybrid Saatva Classic mattress. It costs around $1,300 for a queen – there’s usually a $200 discount to be had – and if you’re looking for a luxurious hotel comfort then this is the best mattress. It’s also been approved through the American Chiropractic Association, making it a good option if you suffer from back pain.

Another advantage of purchasing from Saatva is Saatva’s free White Glove Delivery service. In this case Saatva’s team of experts will put your new mattress in your room of your choice, and remove your old one if you arrange it in advance.

So , if you’re looking to get the best value for price, go for the Nectar. If you want hotel-luxury snoozing and have more money to spend, then give the Saatva an opportunity. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Helix bed mattress is a customized or personalized solution to your sleep issues emerging from improper bed linen. Every person has a specific sleeping style. Some individuals sleep well on their back, laying straight on the bed and searching for. Some people sleep well on their side. Some individuals use up charming postures to make themselves comfortable. If people do not have the exact same method to sleeping or the very same sleeping posture and definitely not the very same sleeping pattern, be it time of the night or period, then a single bed mattress or particularly a standardized mattress might not be suited for any and sundry. When you consider this reality, Helix mattress seems to be the only reasonable choice. It is a bed mattress that is made particularly for you and your partner, to match your needs and to make sure that you and your partner have fantastic satiating sleep every night. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

The Approach to Personalization of Helix Mattress

Helix bed mattress needs its customers to take a Sleep Quiz. This is more of a questionnaire that helps the sleep professionals and engineers at Helix to understand your requirements. This Sleep Quiz takes 2 to 3 minutes. Helix treats sleep as science and the bed mattress as a piece of development, which is not extremely various from how contending brand names like Casper, Leesa, Purple or Nectar approach their own mattresses. As soon as the quiz is taken, Helix sleep professionals and engineers work on the design, material and every physical quality of the mattress that will suit the requirements of the particular individual or couple who had taken the quiz. This process is called the Helix Sleep System by the business. The business takes a couple of days to develop and manufacture the personalized Helix bed mattress. The mattress is made in United States based factories and it ultimately gets delivered within 10 business days. You would secure free shipping anywhere within the US. For the most parts, the customized Helix mattress is provided within ten company days.

Attributes of Helix Mattress

The most notable quality of Helix mattress is its ability to really comprehend the sleeper. The quiz helps while doing so. There is the normal protector for the bed mattress to avoid wear & tear and to safeguard the mattress from spills and dirt. The personalization is really beneficial since the designers, sleep professionals and engineers don’t just develop basic features throughout the entire mattress when there is a couple with different preferences. They come up with unique qualities for each half or side of the mattress. This addresses the needs of a couple that has various sleeping patterns, postures and choices or requirements.

The most precious benefit of Helix bed mattress is the fact that one can really get rid of all the sleeping issues that one has actually been dealing with throughout the years. It must be noted that most sleeping problems for healthy individuals arise from some quality or the other of the bed or the bed mattress. People who require softer bed mattress will have back pain if they sleep on a firmer bed mattress. People who have high blood pressure may not find it extremely comfortable with memory foam mattress however can constantly choose memory foal gel mattress with huge cells that would not trap the body heat and help with a cooler sleep. When one takes the quiz and reveals every requirement, opportunities are really high that the Helix mattress will be exactly what the individual needs and for this reason the possibilities of back pain, sprain, knee discomfort or any sort of pain in any joint will be seriously reduced. Helix Mattress Topper Reviews

Helix Mattress Vs Competitors

As you check out Helix evaluations, a few realities will become apparent in no time. Helix bed mattress is more expensive than the majority of other mattresses. This is understandable given it is personalized. A lot of other brands do not make personalized bed mattress. The guarantee and lifespan or toughness of Helix bed mattress could be much better. If you check out customer Helix bed mattress examines on Amazon and other sites then you would understand that motion seclusion and heating issues are not issues that you should fret about when you buy a Helix mattress but you do have to know the type of bed mattress you need. At the end of the day, the style and engineering of the bed mattress will be according to exactly what you express so your options are the secret.

It is difficult to compare Helix mattress with its rivals such as Casper, Leesa or Purple since they are standard and Helix is a customized bed mattress. Helix is thinner than most mattresses at ten inches. That is a standard feature. It will have 4 layers, which is more or less exactly what most other brands opt for. Rather of memory foam, Helix bed mattress has micro-coils. There are two more layers of poly foam and base foam respectively. The upper layer is vibrant foam. The leading layer is two inches, so is the 3rd layer which is of poly foam. Base foam is four inches and the 2nd layer from top is a little more than two inches.

The most notable highlight of Helix Vs Casper is the price. Every size has a price difference of $50 to $100. Evaluating Helix Vs Leesa will lead you to presume that the latter offers much better quality sleep however it is less resilient than the previous. Helix Vs Purple will draw you to the upper cover of the latter that is even more comfortable but the former has the power of customization. Customization will always weigh heavy in favor of Helix bed mattress reviews.

Helix Mattress Vs Nectar Mattress

Nectar bed mattress is mild yet firm, it has a blended cover of cotton and tencel, the thickness is eleven inches and it weighs anywhere from 45 pounds to 89 pounds depending on the size. Nectar utilizes a layer of 1 inch gel memory foam, the 2nd layer is 3 inch memory foam, the 3rd layer is 1.75 inch memory foam and then a 5.25 inches support foam layer at the base. The tiniest size of Nectar bed mattress sells for $500 and California King sells for $900. There is totally free shipping and a whole year or 365 nights of trial. There is lifetime guarantee and you can easily save more than $100 on every size. That is not the sort of saving you can get with Helix mattress coupon. Helix has just 10 years service warranty, it is firmer and thinner, the cover is polyester and the weight ranges from 40 lbs to 100 lbs. The price is much greater from $600 to $1195. The trial period is for just a hundred nights.

Helix Mattress Firmness and Feel

You might have noticed that stiffness has already been discussed within this list. This is because one of the most important factors to take into consideration when purchasing the best mattress is its firmness (and how it affects comfort). These elements will reveal the bed’s suitability for your chosen sleep place (s). Let’s look at the comfort and firmness in the Helix mattress series.

What Is the Firmness of Helix Mattresses?

The Helix mattresses come in a variety of hardness choices, with the softer being moderately soft, and the firmest being fairly firm. Helix Sunset Helix Sunset is on the softer end of the range and we evaluated it with a score at 5.5 out of 10 in the firmness scale. (A 6.5/10 is considered to be an standard industry norm for medium firmness.) Helix Dusk is next. Helix Midnight is next, and we gave it a 6/10 that means it’s softer than normal. It’s softer than the Helix Midnight and Helix Dusk sit somewhere between the spectrum. Both mattresses received a rating of around 7/10, which is slightly firmer than normal. They are Helix Twilight, as well as Helix Dawn are at the firmer side of the spectrum, with both getting a 7.5/10 rating (firmer than the average).

It is important to remember that the degree of firmness is a personal preference. If you’re looking for the firmness of the mattress, you can assess these mattresses differently based on your body weight and your personal preferences. Heavier persons, for example, may find these mattresses more firm as they can push further into the mattress and reach the support layers. On the other hand, people who weigh less be surprised to find these mattresses softer since they are higher on the comfort level of each bed(s).

Sleeping on the Helix Mattresses

We slept on Helix beds for an long period in order to get an idea of the experience it’s like to sleep on each model in various positions. Have a look at the results!

Helix Sunset Mattress

Helix Mattress Topper ReviewsDue to its softness, due to its softness, the Helix Sunset was not comfortable enough to be a good back sleeper. The hips of ours sink a little too far down into our mattress which caused the spine to be misaligned.

The Helix Sunset’s softness isn’t ideal for back sleepers but it’s great for those who sleep on their sides. We were really at ease in this position due to the soft mattress cushioned possible stress points around the hip and shoulder. In fact, it’s one of the best mattresses for hip discomfort we’ve seen.

It is apparent that the Helix Sunset is not supportive enough for stomach-sleeping due to its softness. Our hips sank too deeply into the mattress which pulled our spinal column out of its alignment just like they did when we were back sleeping.

Helix Moonlight Mattress

helix-moonlightAs a back sleeper, it was apparent that the Helix Moonlight was adequate but not extraordinary. If you’re planning on sleeping in this position for the entire night, you’ll probably require a mattress that provides additional support and helps maintain appropriate spinal alignment.

The Helix Moonlight is an excellent option for sleeping sideways because of its comfort. We didn’t feel any uncomfortable pressure around the shoulder or hip.

The Helix Moonlight, like the Helix Sunset, is not supportive enough for stomach sleeping. Our hips fell too deeply in the mattress causing the spine to be out of alignment.

Helix Midnight Mattress

Helix Midnight Luxe FeatureWhile resting upon the Helix Midnight We felt amazing. We enjoyed a touch of pressure relief without sacrificing spinal alignment , thanks to the mattress’s good blend of comfort and support. It’s the best mattress for those who sleep on their backs on this list.

Although the Helix Midnight is more firm in comparison to Helix Sunset and Moonlight, it is still a good mattress. Helix Sunset as well as Moonlight, we found it pleasant to sleep on our sides on the mattress. It offers adequate pressure relief around the shoulder and hip, in our opinion.

As we lay on our stomachs in the Helix Midnight, we were well, but not super. Sleepers who are in this posture all night should look for a firmer mattress that provides greater spinal support.

Helix Dusk Mattress

helix-duskThe Helix Dusk is more supportive than other models we’ve tested, which may be the reason we felt so at ease while sleeping in our backs. We’re sure that we’ll be able to maintain proper spinal alignment all night thanks to the mattress’s supportive qualities.

It’s not surprising that the Helix Dusk feels a little too firm for side sleeping considering that we’ve moved to the more firm end of the spectrum. We felt some pressure around the hip and shoulder area that could create a lot of discomfort if you were to sleep in this position for a long time.

The Helix Dusk should suit stomach sleepers who weigh around average, as it should assist to maintain a healthy spine alignment. However, stomach sleepers with heavier weights may not receive sufficient support in this model.

Helix Twilight Mattress

helix-twilightThe Helix Twilight was proved to be the ideal bed for back discomfort. It’s ideal for back sleepers who require additional support owing to increased weight, back pain, or other causes. The firmer construction of this mattress helps in keeping the hips lifted and in alignment to the spinal column.

Since this mattress Helix Twilight is slightly firmer than other mattresses, we found it difficult to lie on our backs on the mattress. We felt as if we were being suffocated by the hips and shoulders.

For most stomach sleepers, the Helix Twilight to be a good choice, as the mattress’ hardness should provide enough of spinal support for this type of position.

Helix Dawn Mattress

helix-dawnBack sleepers who prefer mattresses that are firm will appreciate the Helix Dawn’s high level of support. However, those who prefer a little pressure alleviation when resting on their backs could find this mattress to be excessively firm.

It’s the Helix Dawn is far too hard for side sleeping and you’ll be left with lots of pressure points around your hip and shoulder. The Helix Dawn that is soft will be considerably better for those who sleep on their sides.

It is the Helix Dawn mattress is considered to be the greatest mattress designed for stomach sleepers, in our opinion. Throughout the night this supportive and firm mattress helps keep the hips elevated and in alignment to the spinal column.

What Do the Helix Mattresses Feel Like?

Helix mattresses all have a hybrid structure that has foam layers over coils. Despite these similarities, each Helix mattress has its own distinct individuality.

The Helix Sunset offers a soft top and a balanced foam feel. The soft comfort layer allows sleepers to feel comfortable and creates the feeling of a slow-moving.

The Helix Moonlight, despite its softness, offers a lively feeling, particularly when compared with the Sunset, which is less sensitive.

The Helix Midnight similar to the Helix Sunset, is an even feel and slower-moving upper layer. The Midnight is firmer than the Sunset which allows sleepers to sink further into the top layer.

The Helix Dusk is solid and lively. This is because of the use of high-performance foam for the layer on top, and coils in the supporting layer.

The Helix Twilight, like the Helix Sunset and Midnight, has a more sluggish top. It’s still a solid mattress, even though the comfort layer is slightly more cushiony.

The Helix Dawn, like the Helix Dusk, has a firm, bouncy feel to it due to the use of foam that is dynamic (in the comfort layer) as well as coils (in the support layer).

Average Weight Sleepers – 130 lbs – 230 lbs

It is the Helix Midnight (which combines spinal support and pressure relief) as well as The Helix Dusk are likely to be preferred by back sleepers (which provides a more firmer spine support).

The Helix Late at Night (if your preference is a slightly harder sensation) or the soft and more pressure-reducing Helix Moonlight or Sunset is most probable for people who are average-weight side sleepers.

For stomach sleepers, those of moderate weight should prefer the supporting Helix Twilight or Dawn.

Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs

It is recommended that the Helix Dusk should provide appropriate support for back sleepers who weigh a lot, as it relieves pressure and maintains the alignment of the spine.

The softest models in the Helix range, such as Helix Moonlight or Helix Moonlight or Helix Sunset are likely to provide adequate pressure relief for heavier side sleepers.

For stomach sleepers with heavy weights, on the other hand are likely to move to the Helix Dawn (the firmest mattress of the range) to ensure proper spinal support.

Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs

There ought to be a range of types available for lightweight back sleepers: The Helix Moonlight, Midnight, and Dusk all provide plenty of support for the spine and various levels of pressure relief that can accommodate various sleeping styles.

In the same way, side sleepers who are light can pick from the Helix Midnight, Moonlight, or Sunset that should all give adequate pressure relief and allow users to adjust the level of hardness according to their requirements.

Helix Mattresses Construction

In terms of construction, all of all of the Helix mattresses are constructed the same way. They all have the same cover, and the same foam comfort layers are laid over individually wrapped supports for coils.

The majority of Helix mattresses, in particular, have a SoftTouch Design cover that is elastic, soft, and breathable. This allows air to circulate freely throughout the mattress’s top. Additionally, every Helix model is equipped with an additional layer of support made of individually wrapped coils that are stacked on top of a base foam with a high density which gives the mattress it’s overall design and support.

The similarities are not the only part. The cushions’ comfort layers differ in their thickness, stiffness, arrangement and kinds of foam. Additional materials are also available in certain models. Let’s take a take a closer look!.

Helix Sunset

Its cushion of comfort is made of pressure-relieving Memory Plus Foam, which gives you the slow-moving feeling which memory foam has become famous for. A transition layer composed from Helix Dynamic foam, a foam made of latex that’s firmer, bouncier, and more bolstering, sits underneath that Memory Plus Foam.

Helix Moonlight

The Helix Sunset’s comfort layer is composed of Memory Plus Foam, the Helix Midnight’s primary comfort layer and the transition layer are made from the Helix Dynamic Foam. It is a different latex-foam alternative, and the multiple layers of this dynamic foam provide a lively feel when compared to that of the Helix Sunset.

Helix Midnight

Memory Plus Foam is the primary comfort layer of the Helix Midnight, and it provides pressure reduction and body shaping. A layer of transitional high-quality polyfoam is placed underneath the Memory Plus Foam. This layer is quite responsive, implying that the mattress in general responds more quickly to pressure.

Helix Dusk

The main comfort layer is made of Helix Dynamic Foam, a latex-foam substitute that’s bouncy and receptive. The layer is made of Memory Plus Foam sits beneath this layer. (Think of the Dusk’s design as similar to that from that of the Helix Sunset, but reversed.) Helix Dynamic Foam can be placed over Memory Plus Foam to create a lively, responsive surface, while Memory Plus Foam provides pressure relief when sleepers lie down on the mattress.

Helix Twilight

It’s the Helix Twilight, like the Helix Midnight, has a slow-moving Memory Plus Foam layer above an extremely dense and high-grade polyfoam transition layer. The Memory Plus Foam adds some ease of use, but don’t be deceived by this being an extremely firm mattress that has very little give.

Helix Dawn

Then, last but not least The Helix Dawn features an Helix Comfort Layer made of Dynamic Foam, which is sandwiched over a high-quality, dense polyfoam transition layer. The result is an extremely firm, bouncey, and comfortable sleep surface with very minimal give.

Helix Mattresses Performance

We tested our Helix mattress through a series of tests to determine their performance in key areas including temperature regulation as well as motion transfer, edge support, and more. Continue reading to find out how they fared!

Sleeping Hot or Cold

Do you feel hot or cold when sleeping? If you’re still concerned about the possibility of overheating, think about purchasing a LUXE model of any mattress.

Motion Transfer

According to our tests certain models are better than others when it comes to minimizing disturbances over your mattress’s top. The Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight have the highest level of motion-seclusion. That’s because there is a slower-moving memory foam close to the top of all of these models, which does great job at absorbing motion. These are the best mattresses for couples that are available on the market.

Edge Support

Every Helix mattress had excellent edge support across all models. When we sat and slept at the edge of each model, we felt comfortable and safe.

Durability

The Helix mattresses are manufactured with strong coils and high-density foams which ensure that they can last for a long period of period of.

Off-Gassing

We noticed an off-gassing issue from all six Helix mattresses at first. This will go away within a couple of days, in the event that it is not earlier.

Noise

We didn’t notice any noticeable sound when moving around on one of these mattresses during the time of our test. Since all of these mattresses have coils, it’s likely that they’ll start to sound squeaky as time passes.

Sex

When looking for a sex mattress, a majority of people are worried about how easy it is to change positions on the mattress. Since all Helix mattresses are made of coils, they should be responsive enough that you can move around with ease on any of them. The models with memory foam in the top layer (particularly, Helix Sunset, Midnight and Twilight) Helix Sunset, Midnight, and Twilight) may make changing your position a bit harder due to their slow motion.

Information on the Warranty

A 100-night sleep trial and 10 years of mattress warranty are included with each Helix mattress.
